00:00Lately, in Zambales, thugs claim to be running a legitimate business

00:07but are possibly involved in espionage and corruption related to POGO.

00:19In the visa of Warrant of Arrest, the man of Composite T from AFP, NBI,

00:24and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Police,

00:27the man of Composite T is the owner of an island resort where espionage and kidnapping are said to be taking place

00:34that is related to POGO in Subic Bay Freeport.

00:37A Chinese national was arrested because of a violation of Republic Act 8799

00:42or the Security Securitization Code and Cybercrime Prevention Act.

00:46Four more Chinese men were arrested, one Cambodian and two Filipinos.

00:52The raiding team obtained a 9mm caliber gun, 16 bags, laptops, and cellphones.

00:58The NBI is now holding the arrested people and we are trying to get a statement.

01:02In a statement, the Department of National Defense said that the four nationals

01:07who are operating a legitimate business using the so-called resort,

01:11their activities may be part of a larger criminal network operation that is a big threat to the security of the country.

01:19The DND is hoping to assist the relevant agencies, including the SBMA,

01:25in the possibility of declaring the island resort,

01:28along with the nearby Chiquita Island, as a military reservation.

01:33Because the island resort is considered a strategic vantage point

01:37that has a clear view of the main sea lanes in the West Philippine Sea,

01:42including Bajo de Bacinlo.
