00:00This is a 2010 Porsche Cayenne Trans Siberia and it's the coolest Cayenne they ever made.
00:09You might think of the Cayenne as a sporty SUV, maybe something luxurious for rich people to drive their kids to daycare,
00:16but the Trans Siberia was different.
00:19It was the time that Porsche made a factory-built off-roader Cayenne with skid plates and a lift kit.
00:27They went for it and it's cool.
00:29Today, I'm going to review the Cayenne Trans Siberia and show you all of its quirks and features.
00:40Before I get started, big news.
00:42This Cayenne Trans Siberia is for sale and it's being auctioned live on cars and bids.
00:49This is a real Cayenne Trans Siberia from the factory, not a clone, which is becoming hard to find.
00:56And it's mostly unmodified, which is also becoming a challenge to find.
01:00But here it is and you can buy it on cars and bids.
01:04So, once you finish watching this video, click the link in the description below to visit the live auction for this Cayenne Trans Siberia,
01:12where you can bid on it and buy it only on cars and bids.
01:17Alright, time for the quirks and features of the Cayenne Trans Siberia.
01:23There are many quirks of this vehicle, like the fact that it exists.
01:28But let me go through a couple of quick basics.
01:30Trans Siberia. This was a factory-built, off-road-focused Cayenne, like I mentioned.
01:36And it was intended to commemorate Porsche's success in the Trans Siberia rally race.
01:42Porsche entered some highly modified Cayennes.
01:45They won, and they wanted to bring that victory celebration to the consumer in the form of a Trans Siberia Cayenne.
01:54So, let's talk quirks, starting with, well, the name.
01:58It has its name plastered down the side of the vehicle, as you can see.
02:02Cayenne S Trans Siberia.
02:04Strangely, they called it the Cayenne S, but this isn't actually a Cayenne S.
02:10Instead, it has the powertrain from the Cayenne GTS.
02:14Both models used a 4.8 liter V8, but the Cayenne S had 385 horsepower.
02:19The GTS and the Trans Siberia had 405 horsepower, so an extra 20 horses.
02:25So, even though they call it the Cayenne S, it has the extra power from the GTS.
02:29Why did they do this?
02:31My guess is they wanted to keep GTS as sort of a road-focused performance trim level.
02:37And so, instead, this was the S.
02:40Trans Siberia.
02:42And, as you've already seen, yes, the exterior badging is weird.
02:47You have the whole name of the car going down the side,
02:50and then some stripes on the front, as you can see here,
02:53and then on the back is sort of a continuation of the side stripe.
02:58Surprisingly, this is actually the tamest way that you could get the Cayenne S Trans Siberia.
03:06They also offered the graphics package in bright orange.
03:10And they offered bright orange wheels.
03:13And they offered a giant bright orange light bar that could be mounted on the roof from the factory.
03:20This vehicle, thankfully, skips all of that stuff.
03:24Although, I say thankfully, because back in the day,
03:27the orange accents essentially made the vehicles unsellable.
03:31There were stories of them sitting on dealer lots for a year or even more
03:34with their orange wheels and their orange light bar.
03:37But, these days, the orange-accented ones are the ones that everybody wants
03:42because they're cool and special and different and unique.
03:46Although, that's generally the case of the Trans Siberia.
03:49This was not a common vehicle,
03:51and it has become tremendously popular with Porsche enthusiasts,
03:55a factory-built off-road Porsche, in recent years.
04:00But, even if you got the tame one with silver accents instead of orange
04:04and no light bar on the roof,
04:06you still had some pretty cool off-road upgrades.
04:09For one, you got skid plates.
04:11You can see the front skid plate here to protect the car
04:14from whatever you might hit up front doing your serious off-roading.
04:18You also had a rear skid plate, as you can see, for the same purpose.
04:22And you had rock rails, which is just hard to imagine on a Porsche Cayenne.
04:27But, indeed, it had them going down both sides.
04:29Rock rails to protect the paint
04:31when you're in some serious off-road bouldering situations.
04:35You also got all-terrain tires.
04:37Obviously, these are not the factory tires that were on this car
04:40when it was new 15 years ago,
04:42but they are faithful all-terrain tires in the same size.
04:46And that gave the Trans Siberia a little height advantage
04:49compared to other Cayenne models.
04:51Those all-terrain tires added a little height
04:53and, of course, some grip for off-road capability.
04:56Now, beyond that, you also had air suspension standard in the Trans Siberia,
05:01which meant that you could lift up the suspension
05:04to get more ground clearance when you were cruising along.
05:07You didn't have to, and other Cayenne models also offered that air suspension,
05:11but it was standard here for extra ground clearance,
05:14as was a locking differential
05:16to make sure you were fully capable on the trails off the pavement.
05:20The Trans Siberia also came with the Cayenne's optional off-road package
05:24that was standard here, and it included a few upgrades,
05:27but the most important was some different engine-computer tuning
05:31with the traction control to make off-roading more possible.
05:35I guess it wouldn't kick in in certain times and would in other times,
05:38so if you were off-roading, it was optimized for that purpose.
05:42Now, beyond all of that important hardware,
05:45actually, there were also some more cosmetic upgrades,
05:48especially inside, where you had Alcantara seat centers.
05:52You didn't get that in the Cayenne S, although you did get it in the GTS,
05:56so it had that GTS upgrade as well.
05:59You also had an Alcantara steering wheel, as you can see,
06:02with a little center stripe so you knew exactly where center was
06:06when you were on the racetrack or off-roading in tough conditions.
06:10And in the gauge cluster, you can see Trans Siberia is printed there
06:15to remind you of the very bizarre Porsche Cayenne that you're driving.
06:20But I don't want to go too far into interior quirks just yet,
06:24because there are two rather important and hilarious quirks
06:28about this car worth pointing out that involve getting inside.
06:32One is the key, which is shaped like a Porsche Cayenne.
06:37Look at the key. You can see it's got two little headlights up front.
06:41There's like a windshield and even side windows on this key
06:46to make it look like a Cayenne.
06:47Now, Porsche later changed its key shape to kind of resemble
06:51the general body shape of a Porsche,
06:54but this one clearly was intended to be a Cayenne,
06:57even with little headlights on the key.
07:00That was a distinctive element of the original,
07:02the first-generation Porsche Cayenne, a Cayenne-shaped key.
07:06Very charming.
07:07The other hilarious thing about this car getting in,
07:10the door handle situation.
07:13For some reason, Porsche couldn't paint the door handles
07:17in the body color of the car.
07:19This was true for all of the original Cayenne models.
07:22They were able to paint the door handles fully black or fully silver.
07:26So if you had a black or silver first-gen Cayenne,
07:29you got a body-colored door handle.
07:31But if your original Cayenne was any other color,
07:35you got a black or silver door handle with a small strip of color
07:40that matched the body color of the car on the door handle.
07:44So if you had a red Cayenne, you would get a black or silver door handle,
07:47but there would be a red color strip on the door handle.
07:50And you can see this one is gray, gray car, everything gray,
07:54except a black door handle with a little gray strip.
07:58Because for some reason, Porsche couldn't figure out how
08:02to paint the door handle the full body color on the original Cayenne.
08:08That is something you've probably never noticed.
08:10You've seen original Cayennes on the road for 20 years,
08:12and the next time you see one that isn't black or silver,
08:15take a look at the door handle,
08:17and you will be amazed at this ridiculous Porsche quirk.
08:21But anyway, next we climb inside the Cayenne Trans Siberia,
08:25and the first thing you notice when I get in here,
08:27this thing is in pretty nice shape.
08:30It is impressive. This car has almost 105,000 miles on it,
08:33and it still looks, I wouldn't say new,
08:36but surprisingly not very worn for a 15-year-old car with that mileage.
08:41And one big reason for that is these cars were made to be sturdy.
08:46The original Cayenne was intended to be sporty and fun and performancy,
08:51but also an off-road capable vehicle with a sturdy, very well-built interior,
08:58and that clearly shows all these years later, this one is still holding up.
09:03Now, the drawback of that is that you don't get sort of the modern, cool,
09:08stylish, swoopy Cayenne interior with its great tech and nice lighting all throughout.
09:14Instead, you get a pretty upright dashboard.
09:16You get grab handles so people can hang on when you're off-roading.
09:20You have a sturdy interior with a sturdy look in here.
09:24Probably the best example of that is the material that's used on top of the dashboard.
09:28It almost looks like elephant skin.
09:30It's not particularly high quality.
09:32It's no, like, high-end leather or Alcantara, but clearly it holds up well.
09:37This car's been used a lot for 15 years,
09:39and you don't see any warping or changing color cracking of this dashboard material.
09:45Porsche, when they created the original Cayenne,
09:48they created a sturdy, well-built vehicle,
09:50and that clearly all still holds up today in a pretty impressive way.
09:55Now, with that said, although it is very well-built, sturdy in here,
09:59no creaks or rattles, it was still Porsche's first effort at an SUV,
10:05and so there are some rather interesting quirks in this interior.
10:08Quite a few, in fact.
10:09For example, the climate controls.
10:11You have these little switches that you can adjust the temperature and the fan speed.
10:14But where are the rest of the climate controls?
10:16Well, they're hidden behind this panel that says Porsche.
10:19If you want to access them, you push it down, and there are your climate controls.
10:23Strangely, there's this whole pad of buttons, 12 in total,
10:27but there's only five actually functional buttons in here,
10:31and they're sort of randomly placed.
10:33Three on the left, two in the upper right, the rest are all blank.
10:36And, of course, if you want, you can just cover them all up completely
10:40so you don't have to look at your climate control buttons.
10:44Also unusual, in the climate control display area,
10:47there's a clock, even though it's the climate controls.
10:50That's especially unusual because in the center screen directly above that,
10:55there's another clock.
10:57And then in the gauge cluster screen, there's another clock.
11:01Of course, they all match up, but it's a little clock overkill in this car.
11:05Nonetheless, that is the situation.
11:08And the clock in the gauge cluster can be adjusted by pressing this perfectly sized clock button,
11:14which is sort of triangular in shape, placed right between these two gauges.
11:18You push that, hold it down, the clock starts blinking so you can change the time.
11:22Same deal over on the right.
11:23This little button that says 0.0, of course, zeroes out your tripodometer,
11:27also perfectly placed triangularly right in between these gauges in the gauge cluster.
11:33In the center control stack, you have your heated seat controls.
11:36Strangely, not a switch on or off.
11:38It's a dial, and it has five different position settings.
11:42So you can choose heated seat level 2 or heated seat level 3.
11:46If you just want a little bit more heated seat, if you have a very sensitive butt.
11:51Also interesting, you go into the gauge cluster, and you can see this gauge cluster display screen.
11:56It's all pixelated in orange.
11:58It's not particularly high quality, but it is a preview of what's to come.
12:02Of course, after this, you soon had full color LCD gauge screen displays,
12:07and then you had a full gauge cluster screen,
12:11and it started with little pixelated displays like this, one of the earlier gauge cluster screens.
12:16Nothing too exciting here, except for the fact that I love when you start the car, have it in accessories,
12:22it says Porsche in the Porsche red script.
12:26Pretty faithfully done, actually, considering they were working with individual pixels.
12:31Even though everything else is orange, that's red, and it looks pretty cool.
12:35A beginning of the gauge cluster screen.
12:38And speaking of screens, moving on to the infotainment system real quick.
12:42It's actually not so bad.
12:44This is a full touchscreen.
12:46This is a first generation Cayenne, but it's the facelifted model,
12:50and the facelift gave it a touchscreen infotainment system,
12:53which is actually surprisingly responsive to your touch and intuitive to use.
12:57It's not CarPlay, it's not a giant full screen,
13:00and there's a lot of buttons on the side that you can use if you don't want to use the touch,
13:04but this system has held up actually surprisingly well over time,
13:08and is relatively usable even today.
13:11Although one interesting drawback is there's no backup camera.
13:15Even in 2010, Porsche was like, nah, you gotta pay extra for that.
13:19So no backup camera, although this car does have parking sensors,
13:23and you can see the front ones are mounted at the base of the windshield
13:26and give a display in color that shows just how far you are from hitting something as you come close to it.
13:32This is very similar to Mercedes-Benz Parktronic system
13:35that they used throughout the 90s and into the 2000s
13:38before they adopted more camera systems,
13:41and so you have that even though you don't have an actual backup camera in the center screen.
13:47Next up, here's another curiosity in this car.
13:50On the back of the steering wheel,
13:52you have an unlabeled button over on the right side
13:55and an unlabeled button over on the left side.
13:58I spent a lot of time in Cayennes, never noticed those buttons before.
14:01I had to look in the owner's manual to find out what they do,
14:04and the manual says that those buttons will turn on or off the backlighting on the steering wheel controls.
14:11So the buttons on the steering wheel for your phone or turn up volume,
14:14the backlighting can be turned on or off with those unlabeled buttons on the back of the steering wheel.
14:19Very unusual, although not quite as unusual as the shifting buttons on the front of the steering wheel.
14:26You can see Tiptronic mounted here,
14:28and then up or down rocker switches on the left and right sides.
14:33That's, of course, for shifting gears with the Tiptronic transmission.
14:36The interesting thing is, why didn't they use paddle shifters like every other car?
14:41Porsche didn't do it. They didn't commit to paddles until very late.
14:45And instead, they had these little buttons where you could upshift or downshift on either side of the wheel,
14:50left or right, and that was how you were supposed to shift.
14:53Certainly a interesting, kind of unique way to do steering wheel shifting
14:58before finally they got into the paddle world, probably 2011 or 12.
15:02And next up, another rather interesting control in this interior.
15:05You open up the door, you look on the side of the seat,
15:08and you have quite a few seat controls in here, including this switch for up and down.
15:14Strangely, that has nothing to do with the position of the seat itself.
15:17Instead, it actually moves the seat belt.
15:20You can see you push it up, and the driver's seat belt will move up in its little area of movement,
15:27or you can move it down to fit your height, depending on where you would want the seat belt to be positioned.
15:33That's certainly a little bit unusual.
15:35Also, another interesting quirk in here, to open up the glove box,
15:39you press this glove box opener button, which is actually well-integrated into the dashboard trim on the passenger side.
15:45You press that button, the glove box pops open, and you can see it's cooled.
15:49You could cool the glove box if you wanted.
15:51It's not refrigerated, so you can't, like, keep stuff actually refrigerated cold,
15:56but if you wanted to keep, like, a sandwich cool on your drive home,
15:59you could do that by putting it in the glove box. Pretty cool.
16:02And next up, we move on to the back of the Cayenne Trans Siberia.
16:06First thing you notice back here, good rear seat room.
16:09I got the front seat positioned where I would sit pretty tall, and my knees fit back here, legs, head.
16:14It all works in the back of this car.
16:16The Cayenne, when it first came out, was supposed to be family transport in a Porsche,
16:20and it really does work that way, surprising how much space is back here.
16:23In fact, there's even decent space for the middle passenger,
16:26because you don't have a huge hump in the floor for the differential,
16:30but the middle passenger would have to deal with the fact that the side rear seats are essentially sports seats.
16:36You can see they're heavily bolstered on left and right sides, even though they're bench seats.
16:42It's weird to see bolsters in a bench seat, but that's what Porsche has done,
16:46so rear passengers on either side can be safely strapped into their seat
16:50while you're flying around the racetrack, and they're not sliding out of their seats.
16:54Also helpful with that, by the way, is the fact that the rear seats have Alcantara seat centers,
16:59just like you have up front, you also have it in back to keep you in position and to look nice.
17:04It's nice to see it back here. Porsche really didn't cheap out,
17:07even in the back seat of this car, giving you Alcantara.
17:10You also have a couple other nice touches back here.
17:13For one, climate vents, which is nice to see.
17:15You get two in the center, and then also on the B pillar facing you, kind of near eye level.
17:20You don't have separate rear climate controls, but you do get a decent amount of air with all those climate vents.
17:26You also have a power port back here, although only one. You can see it here on the right side.
17:31Strangely, there is a space on the left side for another power port,
17:35and even a little circular break in the trim to allow for it, but this car doesn't have it.
17:40You probably had to pay extra for two power ports,
17:43so they just give you a very obvious blank, reminding you that you're a cheapskate.
17:48Now, one interesting thing in the back seat here, you don't have any cup holders.
17:52There are none integrated into the doors, and even when you put down the center armrest and open it up,
17:58that's just for storage. There are no cup holders involved there either, but you do get ashtrays.
18:04The rear doors have a little storage compartment,
18:07but it is half taken up by ashtrays on both sides, driver and passenger.
18:11Two individual rear ashtrays back here, but no cup holders.
18:16The Germans had their priorities perfectly in order.
18:20And finally, we move on to the cargo area in the original Cayenne.
18:24You open up the tailgate, and you can see the cargo area back here is actually surprisingly large.
18:29The original Cayenne was more squared off than current models,
18:32so it had a pretty squared off, big, lumpy cargo area.
18:35You could get a lot of stuff back here if you wanted.
18:38And you had a ski pass-through in the center of the rear seat.
18:42So if you had some long, straight item, you didn't have to fold the seats down entirely.
18:46You could just kind of stick it through the center and get that item in here.
18:49Skis and ski poles is what it was intended for.
18:52But if you had something even bigger, of course, you could also drop the seats.
18:55They're 60-40 split, and you could put them down for more space.
18:59Another nice feature back here, you had power ports in the back.
19:03You can see little cigarette lighter-style power ports on the right and left sides.
19:07Two individual ports back here, which is nice to have.
19:10Although, unfortunately, this Cayenne came from the era before automakers really started putting household-style power ports in here,
19:16which is what most people would prefer.
19:18Nonetheless, it is nice to have a powered area in the cargo area for all sorts of different purposes,
19:23particularly when you're off-roading like you might be in the Trans-Siberia.
19:28Now, one other rather interesting quirk of the original Cayenne that a lot of people don't realize,
19:34the glass in back opened up independently from the tailgate.
19:39You could open it up completely independently.
19:41There was a little hidden popper in the wiper assembly, and you could pop it open and open it, as you can see.
19:48So for smaller items, you didn't want to open the whole tailgate.
19:51You could just open the glass.
19:52A lot of people out there driving these original Cayenne models don't realize it can do that
19:56because the popper is so hidden.
19:59Now, when you put the glass back down, you can also see the cool spoiler back here.
20:04This was the GTS spoiler.
20:06It's exciting. It's cool.
20:08It makes it look sporty and fun.
20:11Although I call that cool, and frankly, this whole vehicle is pretty cool,
20:15but at the time when it came out, that wasn't the thinking.
20:19This debuted the Trans-Siberia into the recession.
20:23The Cayenne was already a pretty old product.
20:25It came out in 2003.
20:26They replaced it in 2011, and the Trans-Siberia came out in 2009-2010 at the very end of the model run.
20:32And not only that, it came out in a recession with orange accents in a lot of cases.
20:37It was not a strong seller.
20:39Dealers had a hard time selling them, and a lot of them flatly rejected getting any extra Trans-Siberia inventory.
20:46The result is these were rare.
20:49They were very, very uncommon vehicles.
20:51Not a lot of Trans-Siberia models out there.
20:53Not well-received when it first launched.
20:55But like so many other cars that are hated when they come out and beloved later,
21:01a cult following has formed around the Cayenne Trans-Siberia
21:05as it was a low-volume, low-production, factory-built off-roader with a naturally aspirated V8.
21:12And although later Cayenne models are definitely better in a lot of ways than the original Cayenne,
21:18they didn't have the off-road chops that the first Cayenne did.
21:21And that was especially true with the Trans-Siberia, and it was a rare, limited vehicle.
21:26These are special and desirable today.
21:30But, with all that said, I've never driven one,
21:33and I'm curious to see what it's like behind the wheel of a Cayenne Trans-Siberia.
21:37So, let's do it.
21:39All right, driving the Cayenne Trans-Siberia,
21:44which is such a legit name.
21:46And honestly, a pretty legit vehicle.
21:48You know, getting in this, I've spent a lot of time recently in second-gen Cayenne models and new Cayenne models.
21:53I had a new Cayenne loaner.
21:54We had the second-gen for our office challenge thing.
21:57We've been looking at them.
21:58Kenan wants one.
21:59But you get into an original Cayenne,
22:02and you are reminded just how much sturdier this thing felt than the later models.
22:07Now, that's not a knock on the later models,
22:09and it's not necessarily a benefit for this one,
22:11but it is if you want to take it off-roading and go far off-road.
22:15What Porsche decided to do with the original Cayenne in 2003,
22:18there just wasn't that much data on luxury SUVs in the market.
22:23Like, Land Rover had been popular.
22:25And then, other than that, you know, Audi didn't have an SUV.
22:28There was no Bentley.
22:29There was no all this stuff.
22:30Like, BMW had just blazed the trail with the X5 a couple years earlier.
22:34Porsche didn't know what people would expect,
22:36so they wanted to make it both off-road capable and high-performance and sporty.
22:40And so, this has low range.
22:43It has air suspension that takes it up and down.
22:45This is a serious off-road vehicle in addition to being a pretty sporty SUV,
22:49and the result was it was just bulky.
22:51Like, they basically made a Land Cruiser and an X5 in one vehicle,
22:54and it was heavy and big.
22:56They realized quickly people didn't really care about the off-road stuff,
22:59and so those later Cayenne models ditched a lot of that stuff
23:02and lost a lot of weight as a result.
23:04But these early Cayennes just feel so bulky,
23:07which is why a lot of people have done off-road builds with them.
23:10But Porsche did a factory off-road build, and that's this.
23:15So, driving this thing around, first thing you notice, a couple things.
23:17Vehicle's lifted, and so you kind of feel this, like I said, this bulkiness to it.
23:21But it's even more true in this one because it's got a lift.
23:24It's got the all-terrain tires on it, and so you kind of hear them when you're driving along.
23:28Like, this feels like a serious vehicle.
23:31It really does.
23:32It really does.
23:33It has just this gravitas to it that modern Cayenne models, later Cayenne models just never did.
23:39It just feels like it can go anywhere and kind of rrrr.
23:43There's this solidity to it that's massive, especially the Trans-Siberia.
23:48You do get the sense in this that you are in a more legit version of this car.
23:52Now, the next thing you notice when you drive this, and it's quite impressive, actually,
23:56is the performance level is pretty good.
23:58You know, you think about the solidity, you think about sitting up high,
24:01you think about those all-terrain tires and the lift kit and all this sound that you can hear.
24:06But when you step on it, it goes.
24:09The cool thing about the Cayenne Trans-Siberia, even though it was badged as an S,
24:12it had the GTS powertrain.
24:15And the power is excellent.
24:17Power delivery is excellent.
24:19It's smooth. It's fast.
24:20It sounds good. It feels good.
24:22It's got muscular torque.
24:23It is a great powertrain.
24:25It just feels strong and capable always.
24:28Now, if you want an all-out performance SUV, you know, this isn't the one.
24:33You get a Cayenne Turbo from this era, and then you have some off-road chops.
24:36This is definitely obviously more along the off-road edge of this vehicle.
24:41It doesn't have, you know, the power of a Turbo or a Turbo S,
24:44and it doesn't have the handling of a GTS or a Turbo either.
24:47It's good for what it is.
24:48But back in 2003, there was so much criticism of Porsche for going into the SUV space.
24:53And so they had so much to prove.
24:55They just had to make a great vehicle.
24:57And that's exactly what this is.
24:58105,000 miles later, this has no creaks or rattles.
25:02Like, it's well put together because it simply had to be.
25:05They were already risking their reputation making an SUV.
25:07They couldn't risk their reputation making a bad SUV.
25:10And that's why you see a lot of these early, original Cayenne models with 200,000 miles still going strong.
25:15So, overall, with all that in mind, I mean, I think your drawbacks here are going to be, you know,
25:20just sort of overall half fuel economy is probably not great with this.
25:23And obviously, it's an outdated, you know, interior.
25:25There's no car play in here and all that.
25:26But your benefits are actually a pretty sporty SUV and actually a pretty off-road capable SUV.
25:32And it really is, to me, pretty amazing what this combines into one vehicle.
25:37Plus, the Trans Siberia specifically is just so cool.
25:41It's just such a cool version of this car that Porsche did this from the factory.
25:46A lot of people are doing these aftermarket, you know, off-road Cayenne mods.
25:49But this one is actually OE, factory off-road Cayenne.
25:53I can't imagine they do such a thing again.
25:55And if they do, never to this level.
25:57It'll be like an appearance package.
25:58No skid plates or lift kit.
26:00This thing is pretty cool.
26:01I'm into it.
26:02I think it's great.
26:03And I'm surprised at how well it drives, how solid it feels, and how nice it is.
26:06And so, that's the Porsche Cayenne Trans Siberia.
26:11Gone are the days when we will see Porsche create a factory-built, naturally aspirated, V8-powered off-roader.
26:20It'll never happen again.
26:21And that's what makes this so cool.
26:24You can get this Trans Siberia on Cars and Bids.
26:27And now it's time to give this car a Doug's Score.
26:35And the Doug's Score is here.
26:3755 out of 100, which puts the Cayenne Trans Siberia here against, well, there aren't really any rivals
26:43because no luxury brand has ever made an off-road version of its performance SUV.
26:48Frankly, I think there's a lot to like about the Trans Siberia.
26:51With surprisingly good off-road capability, a good powertrain, and a solid, reliable feel all around.
26:56The drawbacks are an old-school interior and older technology.
26:59But overall, this is a pretty damn cool way to enjoy the Porsche Cayenne experience.
