02:01You know, one of the most successful franchises in IPL.

02:05And also, we share a friendship,

02:09both here on IPL.

02:12I'm lucky to captain Knight Riders in my home country,

02:16in Trinidad and Tobago.

02:18We have lots of success there.

02:20So the decision, when the opportunity came from Venky Sir,

02:25it was an easy one.

02:27And I'm very happy and grateful for that.

02:29And I want to continue that legacy that this franchise has,

02:33and continue to make sure that Knight Riders

02:36continues to be a household name around the world.

02:39It's actually an honor to be called as a key player to this franchise,

02:43and a franchise as big as KKR.

02:47Obviously, it has a rich history and legacy.

02:51So if I'm being called that,

02:53then there's nothing more to be proud of,

02:55for me and my family.

02:59Along with that, I have nothing but gratitude in my mind.

03:03I've been shown so much trust, so much trust is shown on me.

03:07There's a lot of gratitude.

03:09And my IPL journey began in KKR.

03:12KKR gave me a big break in my life, I would say,

03:15not just my cricketing career.

03:17So it's my duty to pay them back,
