00:00Here's how the first round of March Madness is going to go.
00:02Starting in the South, I have Auburn beating the play-in, Louisville beating the Blue Jays,
00:06and then I have two big upsets here, UC San Diego upsetting the Big Ten champs,
00:11and then the underseated Yale Bulldogs beating Texas A&M.
00:14Then I have the upsets continuing with the winner of the San Diego State-UNC play-in
00:18upsetting Ole Miss.
00:19Fun fact, every year but once in the tournament expanded to 68 teams.
00:23A play-in team has gone at least to the round of 32.
00:26Then for the rest of the South, I have it going chalk.
00:28Moving to the West, we got Florida and UConn holding their own,
00:31the betting favorite Colorado State beating the five-seed Memphis,
00:35and then Maryland beating Grand Canyon.
00:37I have my Cinderella team, Drake, starting their Elite Eight run against Missouri,
00:41Texas Tech and St. John's winning handedly,
00:44and John Calperi getting revenge on Bill South and Kansas for the 2008 NCAA Championship
00:49and winning here to move on to the round of 32.
00:52Then in the East, I have Duke beating the play-in, Baylor pulling off the 9-8 upset,
00:57never bet against Oregon in the first round of the tournament,
01:00and then I have Akron and their top eight scoring offense in the country
01:03upsetting Caleb Love and the Wildcats.
01:06We've got another 6-11 upset with the A-10 champion VCU beating BYU.
01:10And then once again, I have chalk for the bottom of my bracket.
01:13I really thought about Robert Morris upsetting Alabama, but I'm not that bold.
01:17And lastly in the Midwest, I have Houston, Gonzaga and Clemson all winning their first matchups,
01:22but I have the High Point Panthers pulling off a 4-13 upset in their very first March Madness game,
01:27beating a Purdue team that ended its season going 3-6 in their last nine games.
01:32I was tempted with a Xavier Texas play-in upset,
01:35and I could see a way that a Troy team with so many returning players
01:38could beat a very young Kentucky team, but for the rest of the bracket, I'm going chalk.
