00:00Four Koreans running an illegal online gambling hub were arrested in Pampanga.

00:06Two of them are wanted and have an Interpol Red Notice.

00:11This is the story of the National Bureau of Investigation Pampanga District Office

00:20a condominium in Barangay Santa Cruz, Orac, Pampanga this February.

00:26It was discovered that the place is being used as an illegal online gambling hub.

00:31Four Korean nationals were arrested in the operation.

00:34These are the remnants that we are talking about of the Pogo operations.

00:38Some of them would resort to illegal online gambling because the facility is still there,

00:45the technology is still there, and some of them would still have their employees Filipino or other foreign nationals.

00:53Earlier, two of the Koreans arrested by the media were wanted and have an Interpol Red Notice.

01:04They are doing their scamming activities here, but targeting Korean nationals in their home country.

01:11That's why they are under warrant there.

01:13But they are here also to do illegal online gambling.

01:21The suspects refused to be arrested.

01:23They are only here as tourists.

01:26They were here since the recorded entry was 2017 and the last departure recorded in Korea was 2019.

01:36So they kept coming back.

01:37This is what they are doing, voice phishing.

01:41For now, two Koreans are detained under the NBI's arrest in Pampanga.

01:46They are facing illegal online gambling in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
