00:00Amigos de Diario de las Américas, me encuentro con la voz de Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Bugs
00:10Bunny y cien, hundred, characters, que nos viene a presentar la nueva película de Looney
00:18Tunes, The Day the Earth Blew Up, Eric Bauza.
00:35How difficult is to switch your brain because Porky Pig is tatatatamers and Daffy Duck has
00:41like this zoomies, like the cats.
00:44So how difficult is to make the switch between characters?
00:47Well you see, I've had a lot of practice sitting in front of the television as a child.
00:52And you know, Mel Blanc, he's the original voice actor and I've had lots of time studying
01:01him.
01:02Wow.
01:03And you record like in the same scene both or you go like full Porky and then full Daffy?
01:08For something short like this, like an interview, I could go back and forth between these guys.
01:15But in a movie like this, it's better to record them separately so we can get the
01:19full range of acting from these characters.
01:23And of course I wouldn't be able to do that without a great director like Pete Browngart
01:27who directed me in this film.
01:33Also I checked your IMDb and I don't know if this is like your trait but you always
01:38make two or three or four voices in the movies.
01:42Yeah.
01:43Why?
01:44Why not?
01:45I mean, hey!
01:46The more the merrier, I think.
01:47And it allows, you know, whoever I'm working with or working for, they get more.
01:54They get more from the performance that I give and it's a lot of fun to be able to take
01:59on that many different characters.
02:06There is some character in the Looney Tunes universe that you have like this milestone.
02:12Someday I want to make this specific voice that you haven't done yet.
02:18Yosemite Sam.
02:19He's the little cowboy with the big hat and the big red mustache.
02:22Yeah, yeah.
02:23The one with the gongs.
02:24Yes, yes.
02:25He goes, ooh, I hate that rabbit!
02:27But that voice, doing that is so hard to do.
02:31And I don't know if I could do that for hours.
02:33This I could do every day.
02:35I could be Daffy Duck any day of the week.
02:39But Sam, ooh, I hate that rabbit!
02:42I'm a hessian without aggression.
02:44Oh, back off there, Sam.
02:46Yeah, it's hard.
02:47It's hard to do Yosemite Sam.
02:56This is a new movie from the Looney Tunes.
02:59Can you give us like a hint what is going to happen in this movie?
03:03Why we need to watch this movie in theaters?
03:05This right here, the big alien invasion.
03:08There's a big takeover on planet Earth.
03:11And these two guys, Porky and Daffy, are the ones that are going to help save the world.
03:15Or maybe not.
03:16I don't know.
03:17You're just going to have to go and watch it in theaters on March 14th.
03:21It's very funny, but it's also very scary.
03:24But it's also like very heartwarming, you know?
03:26There's a lot of heart.
03:28And I think a lot of families, and especially the children, are going to love this movie.
03:33Boy, that almost blew up in our face.
03:37Without giving any spoilers, I watched the movie, I watched the final scene, you know,
03:42like the post-credits scene.
03:44So we're going to have more adventures from Daffy Duck and Porky Pig.
03:51Who knows?
03:52I mean, there could be.
03:54We just don't know yet.
03:55But if you go watch the movie and support the Looney Tunes, there might even be other
03:59things coming out.
04:00Who knows?
04:01Who knows?
04:02Only time will tell.
04:05That's all, folks!
