00:00We've had some pretty good news coming out of Russia.
00:05We're hearing good things, who knows, but we're hearing good things.
00:09They're in a very strong position militarily with quite a few Ukrainian soldiers, but hopefully
00:17nothing will happen with that.
00:20I've asked them not to let anything happen and I think, I hope that nothing happens.
00:26But I feel that Russia is going to make a deal with us, I hope.
00:34We've spoken with President Putin, we've spoken with a lot of people and Ukraine is waiting.
00:43I'm very concerned about the field, in the field there is a very vulnerable group of
00:48Ukrainian soldiers right now that are actually surrounded and that's not good because we
00:55don't want them to die, enough people have died.
00:59So we'll see what happens with regard to all of it, but I'm getting from the standpoint
01:06about a ceasefire and ultimately a deal, some pretty good vibes coming out of Russia.
01:11Any questions?
01:12Mr. President, what do you think about the Senate vote on the CR?
01:13What was the vote?
01:14They just voted to advance it.
01:15What?
01:16They just voted to advance it.
01:17Good.
01:18That's good.
01:19I mean, I was told that that was what was going to happen, very good.
01:29And I appreciate Senator Schumer and I think he did the right thing, really, I'm very impressed
01:36by that.
01:37Mr. President, walk us through the CR.
01:38The situation in Gaza, Mr. President, obviously you're concerned, you're concerned about the
01:45situation in Gaza.
01:47What are the hopes now to get the hostages back?
01:51She just became a big story tonight, right?
01:53Yes, sir.
01:54Did you see that?
01:55What?
01:56In Gaza, sir.
01:57The situation, what is your hope now for a hostage release?
02:04I hope that it all works out.
02:07You're talking about Israel though, right?
02:10We're very much into negotiations with regard to the hostages and Israel and we're going
02:15to have to see what happens, we'll see what happens, hopefully it'll work out.
02:20It's a very complex situation, there's tremendous hatred at levels that nobody's ever seen before,
02:26yeah?
02:27Mr. President, walk us through the tariffs and why it will be financially beneficial
02:30for America.
02:31We know the Australians will not do reciprocal tariffs, but can you walk us through this
02:35whole process and how it will bring wealth back to the United States?
02:37Well, it's going to bring tremendous wealth back and it was tariffs used in reverse that
02:43really brought our country to a position that we don't ever want to be in again.
02:48And when somebody is treating us badly, we're going to put tariffs on, they're going to
02:52be very fair, they're going to be fair and reciprocal, and our country is going to come
02:58back very, very strong.
02:59I think our country is going to come roaring back, the tariffs are a big deal.
03:04And frankly, that's how China does it and that's how a lot of other people do it.
03:09And we do it better than them, but we never had a president that knew how to do it.
03:13Thank you very much, everybody.
03:14Thank you, sir.
