00:22According to the charge sheet, Ng told a Malaysia Airlines employee at the check-in counter
00:27that there was a bomb in his friend's bag, despite knowing such words would disrupt
00:32order.
00:33He was charged under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act, 1955, for insulting behaviour
00:40with intent to cause a breach of the peace.
00:43In court, Ng's lawyer from the National Legal Aid Foundation, Hazrul Ikram Roza Khan, noted
00:50that his client had saved court time and expenses by pleading guilty.
00:54He also mentioned that Ng works as a trader earning RM1,000 and has two dependent children.
01:01However, Deputy Public Prosecutor R Lushani urged the court to impose the maximum fine,
