00:00A few days ago, a Banyaga was found dead in Boracay.

00:05He was found dead and missing when he was seen in an abandoned church.

00:10Here is my report.

00:16He was found missing in Boracay on Monday, March 10.

00:22The 23-year-old is Micaela Micova, a tourist from Slovakia.

00:28But yesterday, his body was found in an abandoned church in Zone 3, Sitio Pinaungon, Barangay Balapag in Boracay.

00:37It's an old church that was destroyed.

00:40You can't go there if you don't mean to.

00:44It is a place that the people of Boracay don't usually go to.

00:49The forensic investigation has yet to be concluded, so the cause of his death has yet to be determined.

00:55The victim was found with no other injuries.

00:58And according to the police, the victim was found with bruises on various parts of his body.

01:03He arrived in Boracay on his own on March 1.

01:07He was last seen on the island on the afternoon of March 10.

01:12He came here for the purpose of his friend's wedding.

01:16It was his first time in Boracay and he really enjoyed it.

01:21The police went to the hotel where the victim was staying and found all his belongings.

01:26It's possible that the victim was found in a chapel.

01:30It's possible that the victim met the suspects on the island who were the subject of a manhunt operation.

01:35We're looking at maybe two or more.

01:38Two or more. Is this the last person that the victim met?

01:42That's one of the persons of interest that we're considering.

01:49Are the suspects all foreigners or are there Filipinos?

01:52There are Filipinos and foreigners.

01:56We're looking for individuals who have a point of contact with the victim.

02:01I really cannot divulge because I believe that the perpetrator is still on this island.

02:09The police informed the family of the victim that they agreed to put the body under an autopsy.

02:16According to the Malay Municipal Tourism Office,

02:19more than 40,000 foreign tourists arrived in Boracay last month.

02:24They hope that this will not affect the tourism, especially since the heat has arrived.

02:29The incident is said to be an isolated case.
