00:29Hi everyone.
00:30Welcome back to my YouTube channel.
00:31Thank you guys so much for joining me.
00:32If you're new here, my name is Holly.
00:33I make food and fitness content.
00:34And if you're not new here, welcome back to the channel.
00:38I'm really excited about this vlog.
00:39This is my first vlog.
00:40Is it my first vlog of March?
00:42Maybe like the second.
00:43The first main vlog in March.
00:45And if you caught up on last week's vlog, you'll know that coming into this month, I
00:48had a lot of non-negotiables and healthy habits that I really wanted to implement and stick
00:52to just to basically work towards feeling like the best version of myself and that highest
00:55version of myself.
00:56So in this week's vlog, I'm going to be taking you through and showing you me basically doing
01:00all of those things and just showing you the healthy habits that I am implementing because
01:03I really just want to have a super, super strong month.
01:06I am currently in the middle of morning meeting, so I'm going to jump back on and then we'll
01:09re-catch up for breakfast and take Nala on a big old morning walk.
01:18I'm just throwing together my breakfast after my meeting.
01:21So I'm going to be having toast, said toast.
01:24I'm going to pop some avocado on the top.
01:26One of the big promises that I made to myself was that I was really going to just focus
01:31on like things that are good to feel good this month.
01:34And that will just mean a variety of different things to different people.
01:37But for me, it just means like eating high protein, eating super colorful meals, eating
01:41meals that just feel like super fresh and nourishing, essentially.
01:46This is our base layer currently.
01:48I scrambled two eggs.
01:49I'm going to pop those on top.
01:50I feel like not too much because I feel like sometimes feta can be a little bit overwhelming.
01:57Okay, we did end up going to go on a slightly drizzly walk.
02:02It wasn't too rainy.
02:03You're not too wet.
02:04Wherever you'll find me, you'll always see a fluffy little being not far away.
02:08I feel like I'm just really trying to like lock into everything at the moment.
02:11Like I feel like whenever influencers are like, oh, like I'm just doing work or whatever.
02:14It's like, what does that actually like entail?
02:16But for me, a lot of it now is like BTS of the app, like with apps, like they constantly
02:22have to evolve.
02:23Like it constantly has to be updated.
02:24It constantly has to be changed.
02:25Like it has to adapt to what you guys want from the app, but also to keep it interesting,
02:28to keep it fun.
02:29Like in my opinion, as soon as you launch an app, it's old.
02:31Like you constantly need to be adding things and reacting to what you guys want because
02:35ultimately like this app is for the community.
02:37So if we're not constantly giving you guys more value, what really is the point?
02:41So so we have like smaller updates going on all the time, just like little tweaks and
02:45things like that.
02:46Or like little changes that we want to make.
02:47But then there's also obviously like big additions.
02:49So today, for example, we've launched Strength Guides on the app now.
02:52Everything we've previously done is like hybrid, like it's running and it's weightlifting together.
02:55But actually, interestingly, some of the feedback that we got was that some of you don't enjoy
02:58running and you do want to be a part of the app and you just want to do strength training.
03:01So we've just launched two eight week strength only programs on there.
03:06So that's like an exciting addition.
03:07We are also in the process of doing our kind of like summer block of programs.
03:12Like we're launching whole new programs this summer and I'm so excited.
03:16It's something.
03:17Oh, OK.
03:18Are you excited too?
03:19It's something new.
03:20It's something that I've never actually seen any other apps do.
03:22So I feel like it's a really exciting chapter for SGS, bringing something completely new
03:28with like a whole new discipline essentially to the game.
03:31So I'm not going to say too much on it.
03:33So yeah, when I say I'm sat at my desk, that is what I'm currently working on just for
03:37a bit of context.
03:38But I'll probably join you guys for lunch before we do an evening.
03:43Guys, I'm doing heated pilates tonight.
03:45It's lunch time.
03:46I actually have no idea what we're going to have for lunch today.
03:50And that's fun.
03:51If you know me, you know I'm the biggest fan of like no prep lunches.
03:54And I actually boiled some potatoes over the weekend, which I was going to use for a potato
03:58salad for my barbecue, but I just never got around to doing so.
04:01They're going to be put to use today and I'm just going to make potatoes, salad, some onion
04:07and some tuna and just do like a tuna potato salad, which actually now I'm thinking about
04:11it, the more I'm saying it sounds really nice.
04:13Okay.
04:14I will probably rate this as like one of the number one anaesthetic things I've ever created
04:18on the internet.
04:19But if you're looking for a meal, if you enjoy your tuna, it's basically just like a variation
04:23of tuna pasta, but with potatoes.
04:37Okay, guys, we're taking a bit of an impromptu visit out.
04:43I'm actually driving down to drive right now in Beverly Hills, which feels a bit insane.
04:46Also, if you are looking in the back of my car and thinking what is going on back there,
04:49I still have my Christmas decorations in the car that I need to get out.
04:52But I have chewed off all of my nails, two reasons being that I wanted to get them done
04:56ASAP.
04:57Number two, I'm a nail biter.
04:58If I don't have any form of polish or anything on my nails, they're not protected from my
05:02teeth.
05:03I will chew them off.
05:04I'm going to film a big batch of cooking content tomorrow and I really feel funny about like
05:08having not clean, like kept nails in my cooking content.
05:12So I'm just going to go to a nail studio that was actually recommended to me called Townhouse
05:16and they do Bi-Ab.
05:17I've not had Bi-Ab since coming to LA because I didn't know anyone that did it.
05:21I've been getting Gel-X and it has destroyed my nails.
05:23So I'm very excited to start a Bi-Ab journey again.
05:26Oh my god, guys, it's raining so heavily now, but my nails look so cute.
05:35I feel like obviously they're very short and this is the very beginning of me trying not
05:40to put extensions on them, but they did such a good job in there.
05:43So hopefully I found a lovely new nail bar.
05:47Okay, now it's time to head to heated parties.

06:04I'm heading off to do an upper-body session.
06:10That's not what we can't be dealing with that right now, but this is the vibe we're staying
06:14because it's so stuffed up.
06:20She's not sweating the buzz.

06:22So much going on right now.
06:23do so much going on right now heading off to do another body session this morning then i have
06:27physio so that's why nala is with me because i'm just gonna drop her daycare because i don't really
06:31like leaving her at home and i'm gonna be out for like two or so hours so it's like great
06:35socialization time for her she can go play with some puppies i can get my workout in then we'll
06:38regroup come back together and have a very productive afternoon
07:08um
07:25that was actually a really good session it was a very like short and sweet session so that was
07:29level up challenge week nine day i think i was doing day six because i switched my run day
07:34and my arm day around because it was supposed to rain again today but the sun is absolutely
07:40shining so i definitely could have got my run in but i'd already mentally checked into the
07:44arm session and yeah it was really really good i'm really enjoying like weightlifting at the
07:48moment but i'm also i think i'm just really enjoying like the split that i have like i love
07:51doing a bit of everything and like nothing feels boring i'm definitely missing my swimming and my
07:56cycling i will tell you that i think when the challenge ends i'm just going to jump into maybe
08:00like the sgs lower body eight week guide that we have but incorporate that with the runs i want to
08:04do and then maybe just throw in a bit of like cycling and swimming and obviously parties as
08:08well like i literally did a post on this on instagram the other day like feminine urge should
08:11just want to have 10 trillion hobbies and do 10 trillion things it's so funny to me because like
08:16it's just i love it so much like women across social media just doing so many amazing things
08:20like all the time and it just makes me like oh i want to try that now oh i want to try that now and
08:24you don't have to be amazing to do something like i feel like when i started swimming and cycling i
08:28was like well i have to get really good at this and it's like no because like who cares like if
08:32you enjoy it just like do it and incorporate it into a week if it makes you happy and and that's
08:35just kind of my mantra with my workouts at the moment anyway i am gonna jump off because it's
08:40time to go to physio
08:58i feel we're back at the desk blue light lenses on locking in
09:21i thought as a fun i don't know whether this is fun or extremely boring but just as a final
09:25interlude to give you guys like a bit of insight into the life of a i guess social media influencer
09:30this is actually something new that i have implemented so i always used to plan my content
09:34in like my notes app like it's like monday i'm gonna post this but i now have a very efficient
09:39system that i use so this is how i pre-plan and like put in all my content i need to go through
09:43and do this because i've obviously posted these but just go through like take everything off
09:46is it scheduled is it done is it like in progress of filming um all of these things just so i can
09:51be like super on top of like everything that i'm doing and make sure that like you know my
09:55content is consistent but high quality and like has like value behind it i don't normally do this
09:59on a day like today but i just had a brief from my protein so brands that i work with on like
10:05retainer which means like kind of reoccurring contracts basically what they'll do sometimes
10:09is send like a brief like at the beginning of the month so like now and they'll be like okay
10:13we would love for you to post on the 16th of march and then also the 21st of march and usually what
10:17they'll do is send over like an idea of what they would like you to post about and obviously it's
10:21very collaborative i can be like that doesn't really like fit like my vibe or kind of like
10:25what i'm feeling for this month like i actually think what if we did this instead and it's usually
10:29especially with my protein like we're very like collaborative and like how we work together and
10:32sometimes i'll have specific products so say like honor active like they have a launch like every
10:36single month so they're like okay this month we would love you to post about like our new launch
10:40it's launching on this date so i'm like okay perfect i'll pop it in my diary and then on that
10:43day i know that i need to have that content ready to go and be posted then but yeah there's a whole
10:48strategy behind if i'm posting a recipe like that that has been put on a spreadsheet before it's
10:53even made it to instagram which is kind of crazy because this is like quite new to me i'm just
10:57trying to be like a lot more efficient because the more efficient i am the more value i can
11:02add to you guys so i'm really trying to dial in this month and just make sure everything is
11:07hitting the mark essentially
11:24driving me wild giddy up like a stallion
11:29today's lunch is inspired by things that needed eating in my fridge basically i this was actually
11:36such a like basic put together meal so first thing i did was air fry some sweet potatoes
11:41and we're gonna have those as the base then i had some ground beef it's so funny enough because
11:47ground beef makes so much more sense in my brain than like minced beef i have some white onion
11:51mixed in with it and then i actually just chopped up some tomatoes i had in the fridge because i
11:54didn't have any tinned tomatoes so i thought i don't need them in a tin if i have them fresh i'll
11:59just chop them up so that is what i'm just popping on the top and yeah i've just got some reduced fat
12:04mexican style classic cheese taco bowl that i'm gonna have for lunch that was so quick and so easy
12:10and this looks so yummy yum right where's my fork good morning youtube all right what do i need a
12:17plate i am just scrambling a really really really really quickly but i haven't used the word
12:22scrambling in like 10 000 years i'm not sure why that thought's coming up i'm scrambling a bagel
12:27really quickly and then we're gonna run a little fluffy forelegs over here out on a morning walk
12:32the sun is back in l.a l.a is such a dramatic place like i know nowhere likes it when it's
12:36like cold and rainy but i think because it's not often like that here people in l.a like don't
12:40know how to behave like people cancel plans people are like oh you know should we just leave it
12:45like it's raining and i'm like we're going for dinner inside like what relevance does that have
12:50for like people don't even want to like leave their homes to walk to their cars when it's
12:53raining here because they're just so not used to it i'm gonna take another walk and then maybe have
12:5812 kilometers to go today i feel quite apprehensive and a little bit nervous about this if i'm being
13:03very brutally honest with you my runs have just not felt not felt the best after a few weeks of
13:08inconsistency personally feeling nervous because like it's just it's going to be a tough one like
13:13it is going to be tough when it's the longest i've run in a minute and those ones always are
13:16the worst and in these moments you just need to like remind yourself of your receipts of like
13:19what you've come back from before what you've achieved before all of those things are like
13:23what you need to be flooding your brain with so i'm gonna have a quick bagel i'm just trying to
13:27decide where to run i'm trying to decide whether i drive down to the beach or whether i do a
13:30residential run today okay guys we are on the move to the run i did decide to drive down to the beach
13:35i just feel like i need a change in scenery and i already feel way more excited for this run i
13:40forgot my running vest which you know could mean that i spiral and get overstimulated because not
13:48only do i have an inhaler i have car keys and i have a phone and no hydration for 12 kilometers
13:56this isn't really giving my best most prepared self i'm actually trying out a new pair of trainers
13:59today so these are the on a clip trainers on very kindly gifted me like a ridiculous
14:05amount of trainers not on any basis of like oh like wear these and say they're good they were
14:09just like we just want you to try them because you guys know i've been wearing my a6 for like
14:13two and a bit years now and i love those i love the kyanos to death they have seen me through
14:17my highs and my lows and they are such an incredible trainer and i will shout about them
14:22until the day i die like they will always be in my rotation but it has been really fun to like try
14:25out some different shoes now these are new style i am wearing them 12 kilometers that is slightly
14:31risky they're definitely like a lot chunkier than i'm used to like the kyanos are fairly flat
14:35these have a lot of boost on the bottom of them so i'm excited to give them a
14:40little while but let's get warmed up and get this 12k done
14:49guys i don't know how but i'm already one kilometer down i literally feel like i flew by
14:58just hit kilometer two i'm not gonna lie this might be subtle foreshadowing but
15:03i don't think these trainers are my favorite they're not bad it's just like the arch of my
15:06foot it's just feeling a little bit funny which two kilometers in is not a good sign
15:11just hit three i definitely need to slow down i'm doing like 535 pace which is
15:14silly i should be doing around a six at the moment just hit four i definitely felt a bit like
15:19panicked in between three and four i'm not really sure why i feel like i just kept thinking about
15:23the distance i have to run and it really freaked me out so i just focused on running in the
15:26kilometer slowing down breathe it when you panic you stop breathing so that's the first thing to
15:31control just hit the 5k mark just coming up to 6k i'm in one of my favorite
15:36locations down in marina del rey i'm just coming halfway i actually think i spoke too soon about
15:41the trainers because now i've been running for like six kilometers we've definitely eased in
15:45it's kind of that initial like you get those funny like twinges and stuff but i feel like now
15:50it's so great i think they're definitely giving me a boost like i said i felt like i couldn't slow
15:56it's actually helping me just say just hit nine two more to go just hit 10
16:02definitely going to dig a bit now two more i can do this just hit 11 almost done
16:07oh my god i want the countdown okay guys i can see the car
16:15oh my god i'm like you know when you're like oh i feel great but like i don't feel great at the
16:19same time i did it i did it i ran 12 kilometers and since you're running and i was like sometimes
16:25when you're running you have to remind yourself like you are that girl like you are that girl
16:28and when you're running just be like i'm that girl i'm that girl that can do this and like i
16:32don't know what it is but the confidence boost that gives me just like i'm that girl i can run
16:36this because i'm that girl like honestly so i ran that in a 5.39 average pace heart rate was pretty
16:43but that's expected it's hot out but i'm so so so so so proud of that good morning good morning
16:50guys yes it is a new morning it is hello it is the new i know we're gonna go through the day took us
16:56to my computer again so i was like i actually could not bear the thought of putting me through
17:01another day of me sat in my office so i was like you know what i'll just join you guys in the
17:04morning and we have a really lovely morning me and nana are gonna go on a hike well actually me
17:09nana and jess we're gonna go meet jess i'm gonna go on a hike also it's international women's day
17:12today so happy international women's day to all the women incredible women should i say on
17:17this channel thank you for being here and for supporting me you're all amazing and today is
17:22all about us it's all about us so it's like we're gonna go on a hike i feel like it's like a nice
17:25little celebratory morning hike but we're super excited we woke up nice and early so you had time
17:30to digest your breakfast i'm gonna go sort out the car so you don't have to ride shotgun with me
17:34so i'm wearing a new in let me show you new in honor active today for hike he's actually launched
17:41next week oh she's got a kit thank you thank you so much um it's i want to say graphite blue but
17:48it's soft motion and i genuinely think soft motion is the best collection that honor i've ever done
17:53okay guys nearly at the hike location i'm like in the depths of hollywood right now which feels
17:57pretty strange because i don't like come here a lot it's so funny with la because if you live
18:01on the west side which is the side of la that i live on which is like santa monica and venice like
18:06that kind of way hollywood literally feels like worlds away like where i am right now i'm like
18:10i feel like i've traveled to a different state like me and jess just lives like more hollywood
18:14way i'm on the west side like i would say we have a long distance friendship also guys the hiking
18:19trail that i'm doing today is the very first hike that i ever did when i came to la like
18:24two years ago which is really really cute and i'm really excited because it's like the one
18:27that goes up to griffith griffith griffith griffith observatory i can't speak
18:58what a beautiful start to international women's day uh fun hike with my best friend and my actual
19:04daughter so we did have a near coyote incident not to be dramatic um it was funny because we
19:10were literally talking about coyotes there so sometimes you'll just see coyotes i think since
19:13the palisades fires a lot of them have like migrated down to santa monica as well because
19:17obviously they've got this place when all the fires were going on which is really sad a lot of
19:20them were kind of like roaming around the street so i've seen so like last night when i was like in
19:24i saw a quote crossing the road jess and cav left my house the other week and saw one like
19:29out on my road so you just have to be like really careful because obviously like
19:32they can you know they do attack dogs so we were having this whole conversation about them
19:37and i was like at one point it was really quiet and i was like i'm gonna let nala like off lead
19:40so we just like let her off and we turn this corner and i just look down and there's a coyote
19:44just like sat and i was like no i come in no i come in i was like oh my goodness oh my goodness
19:49like you know but like you have to remain calm in this situation because if you panic like she's
19:52just going to be like oh we're playing a game so it's kind of like clipped us right back onto
19:56beach time and went the other way but yeah not something that you think you would see all the
20:00time but a way more common occurrence but we did a lovely hike we actually ended up doing 5k so we
20:05were hiking for like an hour and a half that is just such a beautiful route we went to ferndale
20:10drive parked there and then walked up if you ever want to do the griffith observatory hike that's
20:14the best place to go and park you can like free park on the roads as well um and now we're going
20:18to head to dialogue in west hollywood for breakfast which will be so yummy it's genuinely
20:24when me and jess always say this i think it's like the best breakfast in west hollywood
20:37what's guys i'm so full from that breakfast burrito and i'm going i'm literally going
20:41home to immediately change to go to another meal i basically i kind of i didn't really
20:45double book i basically back-to-back booked meals for my saturday morning so that was an 11 o'clock
20:52breakfast and i'm now i have 40 minutes to get back get changed to go to a 12 30 p.m lunch
20:59with the boy that i'm dating and his friends so not really a lunch that i can flake on because
21:03that would look really bad on my behalf but it would be nice like either way like guys it's such
21:07a beautiful day in la today like it genuinely feels like peak summer and to be honest i think
21:13we're about to have a week of rain so i'm just really like soaking in and trying to do like as
21:17much outside stuff this weekend as possible um nala is absolutely snoozing in the back she's had
21:23a lot of exercise this morning so i feel like she's going to be out for a count for literally
21:27the rest of the day and just that she bought my breakfast it's a congratulations for hitting
21:30800k on tiktok which is like crazy in itself but just i don't know just like friends that
21:35cheer on your wins are just like so special but let's rally and go to meal number two of the day
21:41good morning guys happy sunday i hope we are all having a wonderful day a wonderful wonderful
21:46wonderful day so it's actually daylight savings here in california meaning when i woke up 7am
21:51and i was like why am i so horrendously tired it's because it was truly 6am but no time to rest
21:56today is a long one day but today is a very exciting one one day because i'm going on a long
22:00run with two of my best friends so me and charlotte are actually doing a half marathon together it's
22:03going to be charlotte's first ever half marathon i'm so excited like i just remember my first half
22:07marathon it was such a special experience the fact that i get to share that with someone yet
22:10though like one of my closest friends is so exciting so we've got her long run on her plan
22:14today so me and casey are going to go do it with her hopefully it won't get too hot and yeah we'll
22:17just be running and yip yapping the whole time which i'm looking forward to i end up having such
22:23a lovely day yesterday i end up going to it's called like hotel erwin in la um like it's
22:28rooftop and then we went for lunch somewhere and then honestly just like chilled for the rest of
22:32the day i feel like this weekend has been restful but also social like yeah i've had a really good
22:36balance of everything which has been so nice and so needed i obviously wasn't gonna vlog
22:39yesterday um i like i feel like i've mentioned this so many times like i will obviously like if
22:45there's ever any like big news in like my dating life i will of course update you guys but i'm not
22:49about to hardlock to me that i've only been dating for like a couple of weeks really on the internet
22:54however if you saw a certain super bowl video you'll know that somebody else took matters into
23:01their own hands and essentially hard launched me and a man that i think i had known for three
23:07weeks at that point literally three weeks three weeks i had known this man before a video of us
23:13went viral on the internet like we weren't the reason it went viral like it went viral for its
23:18own external reasons but we were in the video so love that i also feel like that kind of sparked
23:22a few of you to be like oh my god why don't you have a boyfriend guys i don't i do not have a
23:26boyfriend so yeah i'm not keeping any secrets from you guys i'm just like you know i'm letting
23:29you know there's a situation but it's not a situation enough to talk about the situation
23:32yet that's what i'm saying so yeah i'm gonna go take nala for her morning stroll and then jump
23:37in the car whizz over to meet the guys we're gonna do a really good warm-up and then we'll
23:39get these 14 kilometers smashed out of the way hi i just found two like percy pigs right at the
23:47bottom of my vest and i was like do you want them morning are you excited is this your longest run
23:54ever no you've done 16 but yeah i need seconds seconds longest i'm really excited same don't
24:02should i come up and yeah we were gonna warm up upstairs okay
24:15hey guys this morning we're running 14 kilometers and then we're going for brunch
24:22so how's everyone feeling good good we're nearly halfway i bet she got like
24:31let's go yeah nearly and then we can turn around and run back maybe just across to
24:34come back this is a nice place
24:42it's pig o'clock
24:47we're just taking a little break because casey nearly fell over
24:51yes casey fell face first into charlotte's elbow okay but let's like explain the condition
24:58oh okay yeah like this is not just like this is treacherous this is yeah
25:15and i'm back from bagels and running like literally like named me a better sunday
25:20morning like i feel like i am just on like cloud nine at the moment i was just thinking i'm gonna
25:23drive back i've just had such a like fulfilling and fun week and and it's just been so nice like
25:29and i feel like i'm signing off the vlog in the best mood ever i feel like i've had not just like
25:33a fulfilling week but also a super productive week with work and i feel like i've really clicked
25:37my routine back this week i did actually put my a6 back on um today for my run because obviously
25:42i tried out the almonds earlier in the week and i'm not gonna lie the arch of my foot today like
25:46this morning felt a bit sore so i feel like that style definitely isn't the style for me um i think
25:51i've mentioned the ones i tried prior to that i did like so i think i'm gonna really take those
25:55ones out for a long run but i just put my a6 back on today because it was a long one and i really
25:59don't want to be messing around my feet too much thank you guys so much for spending this week with
