00:00The Press Thanks, Caroline.
00:01Just back on the markets, you said that what we're seeing this week right now on Wall Street
00:04is a snapshot of a moment in time.
00:06But does the President think he bears any responsibility for the turmoil in the stock
00:11market this week?
00:12Ms. Sanders Look, the President is unwavering in his
00:14commitment to restore American manufacturing and global dominance, and I think he doubled
00:19down on that this morning with his new statement and the tariffs that will be implemented tomorrow
00:24on steel and aluminum.
00:25Go ahead.
00:26The Press And he has said recently, he's not looking
00:27at the market.
00:28He said, you can't really watch the stock market.
00:29But all of the gains since Election Day have been erased in the S&P 500.
00:30At what point, how far do stocks have to fall before the President considers it a factor
00:31and changes course?
00:32Ms. Sanders Again, as I just said, the President will
00:33look out for Wall Street and for Main Street, just like he did in his first term.
00:34And people on Wall Street and Main Street should bet on this President.
00:35He's doing what's right for this country.
00:36Nick, good to see you.
00:37The Press Good to see you, too.
00:38Thank you, Caroline.
00:39Ms. Sanders Good to see you, too.
