The 40th anniversary of the club;'s 1985 British championship is the subject of a new exhibition

00:00In 1985, Fife Flyers were crowned British champions and its team went down in history.
00:19Now, a new exhibition of ice hockey memorabilia is set to be unveiled at Kirkcaldy Galleries
00:24to celebrate the 40th anniversary of that incredible triumph at Wembley.
00:28And we want your help to win a competition to secure funding.
00:33We have submitted an application as part of Fife Council's Bright Ideas initiative
00:36and our exhibition is one of 80 projects open to the public vote from Saturday, March 15th.
00:42There's a £300,000 pot of money up for grabs.
00:45We're only pitching for a modest £1,900 to underpin the costs involved in the exhibition
00:50which opens on April 30th and runs until the start of June.
00:55So, how can you help?
00:56Well, there is a special voting day at the Abbotsford Theatre in Kirkcaldy on Saturday, March 15th.
