00:28I just tried it in an eat-all-you-can-eat restaurant.

00:43Sir Frank, weren't you afraid when you were starting this business?
00:47Well, it was very hard because it's hard to introduce something new to the masses.
00:52But if you love your brand, if you work on it every day,
00:56if you give it time, I think you can do it little by little.
01:00Sir, any tips or advice that you can give to those people
01:04who want to be an entrepreneur also like you?
01:07Love your brand more than anyone else.
01:09Because you can't sell it every day.
01:12There are days when no one buys it.
01:14There are days when no one pays attention to it.
01:17But don't forget that you started it.
01:19And if someone loves it, it should be you.
01:21It's not about the money.
01:23It's like planting a seed.
01:26That's the business.
01:27If you plant it every day, it won't take 6 months
01:31for you to see if it's big or if it has money.
01:33It takes a year.
01:34It's a gradual process.
01:35It takes years.
01:36Here, we only had 5 years and we were able to export.
01:40But if we don't persevere,
01:42if we lose money for the first few years,
01:45it won't happen.
01:46During those years, what did you feel?
01:49Was there a time when you felt like you were on the verge of giving up?
01:51I also thought about that.
01:53But there are a lot of people who care about you.
01:56Even the zoo cares about us.
01:58Because we only use the leaves in creating the product.
02:02All of our stems go straight to the Malabon Zoo.
02:05And some go to Manila Zoo.
02:07Because it feeds our animals here.
02:10It's beautiful. It's a process.
02:12You're also an advocate for helping more people.
02:15I'd also like to know,
02:17because you said that you're the first in the Philippines
02:21and we're very proud to say that.
02:23But of course, competition comes in.
02:25Wasn't it a challenge?
02:28There are so many.
02:29How can I boost my sales?
02:31How can I promote my product even more?
02:35It's a challenge.
02:36But it's very enjoyable.
02:39Because competition is always good.
02:41It's very hard if you're alone in doing something.
02:45At least, they have something to look up to.
02:49I'm the first.
02:50So, I should always set the price.
02:53I should always set the design.
02:55I should always set the quality of the products we're selling.
02:58Because we're known for bananas, coconuts, and mangoes.
03:03But we can still export a lot at home.
03:08We can still brand a lot.
03:10This is just a simple kangkong.
03:12How can we brand other vegetables and fruits like this?
03:21There's no deadline for success.
03:24If you feel like you're slowing up,
03:27that's okay.
03:28As long as you know that you're still focused on your goals.
