00:00So, I said earlier on the show about Redick that he was a punk when he played at Duke
00:05and everybody wanted to kill him.
00:07In the NBA, he could knock down that deep shot and he still was yapping and talking
00:12and guys wanted to kill him.
00:14And now, nobody can kill him because he's a head coach at the Lakers and he's got a
00:19press conference after every game where he can knock guys down and talk bad about him.
00:24I think he gets off on it.
00:26What do you think?
00:27Yeah, it's amazing how he wasn't talking that much until the All-Star break and they get
00:32Luka and all of a sudden he starts yapping his gums a little bit and getting a little
00:37bit of a set up of his team.
00:38How about this?
00:39How about the coach look in the mirror about the fact that you lost to a Brooklyn Nets
00:41team that I mean, are the Nets tanking?
00:45Are they trying to tank?
00:46Are they not tanking?
00:47I can't figure that team out.
00:48But for a team like the Lakers, listen, you know, they already, with the loss yesterday,
00:54they dropped down to the 3-C.
00:56Now, we don't know how long LeBron's going to be out with this groin injury, Pharrell,
01:00but listen folks, you better be careful because they're only, ready folks, two games out of
01:06being the 5-C.
01:08So to them, they still got to find a way to win.
01:10That's why there was a big slip-up losing in Brooklyn last night.
01:14So I think that Nuggets and Thunder, when I saw them play each other back-to-back nights
01:20and they both kicked the other's ass, and Denver last night kicked their ass the night
01:25before, it was the exact opposite.
01:28What I want to see is those two in the Western Conference Final win a seven-game series.
01:32Because I think that Thunder, most people think they can just beat anybody and they're
01:36going to run away with it and it's a done deal to go into the NBA Finals.
01:40And I say, that's insanity.
01:43I think Denver can give them problems in a seven-game series because of how deep they
01:46are in terms of their core four and even their six in their rotation.
01:53Yeah, I mean, listen, they're playing, they're up to the two-seed now, which is good because
01:56that keeps them, they want to be on the other side of the bracket when you come down to
02:00it.
02:01But yeah, you're looking at a team, obviously, Nicole Jokic, if it wasn't for SGA, would
02:04be, I mean, be the MVP.
02:06The guy is averaging, legitimately averaging a triple-double.
02:10Jamal Murray seemed to be better, he was good last night.
02:13Michael Porter Jr. stepped up.
02:14Christian Brown, though, for us, to me, the guy that elevated this game, I was a little
02:19bit concerned when KCP left, right?
02:21He's better.
02:22He's a better player.
02:23So 15.3 points per game, Aaron Gordon, the junkyard dog, Russell Westbrook giving you
02:28what he does off the bench, then Strothmore and Watson, like, these guys are giving them
02:33little bits and pieces.
02:34But at the end of the day, they got that big 15 down low, they can play low post, mid post,
02:40high post, three-point line, they can dime everybody up.
02:43I think the problem is, is when you get down to it, when they play Oklahoma City in a seven-game
02:48series, as much as we love white boy Rick, as much as we like Chuck Holgren, Jokers go
02:55to take them to school.
02:58If you're Mark Diagonal, you're going to have to say, someone else is going to have to beat
03:01me, but then you better hope that you don't get bubble Murray, playoff Murray, because
03:05then you're really, really in deep trouble.
03:08So the way the Warriors are playing now, 13-2 with Jimmy Lymphoma, and they're, you know,
03:14sitting in the six.
03:16They're no longer a play-in team, and they're, you know, three behind Houston, four behind
03:22the Grizzlies and the Lakers, five behind the Nuggets.
03:25But if they keep winning like this, can they keep peeling off layers and catching teams?
03:31Yeah, they can, but they have a critical end to their homestand that's coming up.
03:38They have Sacramento, who's been up and down, they got blown up by the Knicks on Thursday.
03:43They got New York on Saturday after that whole incident.
03:45I want to see that game after the trash-talking that Graymon Green was saying to my son.
03:49They already kicked their ass.
03:50They kicked their ass in New York.
03:51Yes.
03:52Well, also without Carl Anthony Towns.
03:54So I want to see that match-up with Cat, and then they've got to play Denver-Milwaukee.
03:59So this is a big four-game stretch.
04:00Listen, they've done a great job and had some great wins, including at Houston, but a lot
04:06of these other wins at New York without, obviously, Cat, at Brooklyn, really no big deal.
04:10I think the only really good win, you have to say, honestly, is home Detroit, 115-110,
04:16which Steph Hurd had 32 and Jimmy Butler had a doobly nine rebounds.
