02:26is Michael.
02:28I started Showbiz not because
02:30I wanted it growing up.
02:32Actually, it just started because
02:34Papa, fun fact, auditioned for PBB Season 2.
02:36And from then,
02:38he couldn't continue his dreams of auditioning
02:40because my grandfather, his father,
02:42was sick at the time, so he chose to
02:44prioritize, of course, our grandfather.
02:46So, it's like he didn't make it.
02:48One time, this was 2020,
02:50there was an audition online for PBB Connect.
02:52He said,
02:54Try it, audition. I did this when I was a kid.
02:56Until eventually, in my room,
02:58I was bored because of the pandemic.
03:00I said, okay, I'll try it.
03:02And then, the following night,
03:04someone texted, oh, you made it pass.
03:06So, I made process, process, progress.
03:08And then, it didn't continue.
03:10There was another audition.
03:12I said, okay, I'll audition again.
03:14This was for PBB Teens.
03:16I met Sparkle at the time.
03:18I was chosen to be a part of
03:20Sparkada. That was my group.
03:22And then, for a long period of time,
03:24I had to wait without projects.
03:26And that's when I was struggling.
03:28And that's when reality hit me that I'm independent now.
03:30I moved to the Philippines at 18.
03:32I grew up in a family.
03:34Fortunately, we were fortunate enough
03:36to have food on the table.
03:38We always ate together.
03:40And maybe here in the Philippines,
03:42that's where I experienced
03:44I was the only one.
03:46So, I would go home to myself, eating.
03:48I couldn't share stories with anybody.
03:50I couldn't tell anything about my day.
03:52And I wasn't used to that.
03:54It was hard for me because
03:56it wasn't like I'm from here, I was based here.
03:58No way.
04:00I came here from scratch.
04:02I had no friends.
04:04It's something I really wished I had.
04:06Because when I had Sparkada,
04:08I always see stuff like that.
04:10As a family,
04:12I was lucky to have that.
04:14Because there were times
04:16when I really wanted this dream.
04:18But the biggest sacrifice was my family
04:20and my life in Canada.
04:22But I said, one day, this will be all worth it.
04:24Luckily, I was able to prove to the network
04:26that I deserve this show.
04:28And they gave me a break with one of my biggest shows.
04:30And I was so grateful for that.
04:32But when the news came out
04:34that there's a PBB this season,
04:36I really said yes to it.
04:38Because it was my biggest prayer
04:40to get this show started.
04:42It was a full circle moment for me
04:44because finally I'm here.
04:46I don't know how long I'll be here.
04:48I don't know how long this will last.
04:50But I'm already thankful
04:52because to you, all of you guys are my family.
04:54And thank you.
