01:21Number 9 – Rolo Kills Shirley – Code Geass
01:30And this is why nobody likes Rolo.
01:33With Shirley's memories slowly returning, Rolo feared that Lelouch's identity as Zero
01:38was under threat.
01:39So naturally, he does the obvious, and uses his Geass and leaves Shirley on death's
01:44door.
01:58He might have thought he was helping, but given Lelouch's own attachment to Shirley,
02:02whatever justification he may have had, the whole affair is deeply upsetting and seems
02:07like a pointless waste of life.
02:15Even though Lelouch continued to keep Rolo around to act as his pawn, it was clear he
02:19was all too eager to end him, and shared this sentiment.
02:24Number 8 – Mocking Mikuru – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
02:28She may be able to do anything, given her status as a god inside the body of a high
02:32school student, but Haruhi can also be a bit of an asshole.
02:36Case in point, when she went out of her way to mock Mikuru, to such an extent, it brought
02:41her to tears.
02:47Rightfully, Kyon wasn't happy about that, and tried to shut it down.
02:58Haruhi's total indignation to the fact she can't manipulate people how she wishes is
03:03borderline evil.
03:05Hence why Kyon almost knocked her block off.
03:08Given how she was so clearly in the wrong here, the fact he's made to apologise just
03:13sucks.
03:21Number 7 – The Great Kukkening – Digimon Adventure 02
03:26Look, we know shipping wars are stupid at the best of times, but come on, where did
03:36Sora and Matt even come from?
03:38The whole first series of Digimon had fostered this sweet relationship between Tai and Sora
03:43so naturally.
03:45When 02 came around, we were all waiting to see it blossom.
03:49And all of a sudden, just because Matt's a rockstar, Tai gets pushed to the side.
03:57Not to crap on your taste in men, Sora, but we can't help but think you might have forgotten
04:08all that development that happened back in Season 1.
04:11Does having the crest of courage mean you're also trapped in the friend zone?
04:17Number 6 – Rem Gets Remjected – ReZero – Starting Life in Another World
04:22Emilia has really come into her own as a character, and on any given day, it would
04:27make sense for a random neat like Subaru to fall for her.
04:40Across numerous timelines, deaths and rebirths, Subaru is brought to his breaking point, and
04:47the one who brings him out of that darkness is this adorable Oni, encouraging him to make
04:52peace with himself.
05:02And at the end of such a heartfelt confession, he lets her know he's still into the elf
05:07who had yet to show him any romantic interest.
05:10It's a deep wound that fans have yet to fully forgive.
05:22Number 5 – Joining Aogiri – Tokyo Ghoul The sheer stupidity of this one decision is
05:28mind-boggling.
05:39The original Tokyo Ghoul series was more or less a faithful adaptation that explored the
05:44bloodshed and brutality of Kaneki's transformation into that of a ghoul, and how it changed him
05:50as both a human and a person.
05:56Then along came the sequel, where they outright assassinated his character by having him join
06:01the group of cannibal terrorists responsible for his torture and trauma.
06:23Never mind going against the source material, how does this make any logical sense?
06:28Number 4 – Sasha Gets Blasted – Attack on Titan It's the albatross that will hang
06:33over Gabi's neck forever, at least to fans of Sasha, following her heartbreaking demise
06:39during the attempt to evacuate Eren from Marley's clutches.
06:44Amidst the chaos, a vengeful Gabi, a child soldier fueled by Marleyan propaganda, takes
06:50her shot by boarding the Survey Corps' airship, where she proceeds to literally take her shot,
06:55killing Sasha in the process.
07:00It's a tragic twist of fate, showcasing the violence born of the hatred and lies polluting
07:05both nations.
07:15Number 3 – Arnaid is Beaten – Vinland Saga As loathsome as it might be to say, when
07:37it comes to slave owners, Kettle appeared to be fairer than most.
07:42While he was shown to have massive insecurities, at the very least he seemed to treat those
07:47who worked on his farm decently, regardless of their status.
07:51That is, until the true depths of his depravity were laid bare.
07:56Arnaid's escape attempt drives Kettle off the deep end, beating her to near death.
08:03The thought of losing his obsession, revealing just how empty and pathetic a soul he truly
08:08is.
08:12It's no wonder so many of us were begging for Canute to come on over and burn the whole
08:20farm to the ground after this.
08:29Number 2 – The Eclipse – Berserk No one was prepared for this.
08:36Not only was this a major turning point that would go on to define the series forevermore,
08:41but was an event so hopeless and bloody that by the end of it, we lost 90% of the cast,
08:47while the survivors were left irreparably changed.
09:03Following Griffith's acceptance of the God Hand's deal, he offers his comrades up as
09:07sacrifices for his ascension.
09:09And if that wasn't horrific enough, after becoming a dark deity himself, Griffith takes
09:14his spite out on Guts by assaulting Casca before his eyes.
09:18There are no happy endings here.
09:49Number 1 – Vegeta's Moustache – Dragon Ball GT
09:55To be fair, GT did Vegeta dirty in a multitude of ways, not just the inane decision to give
10:01him that infamous bit of face fuzz.
10:04He was constantly nerfed, barely a supporting character, and spent most of the series as
10:09a vessel for an alien parasite.
10:15Though before all of that, there was the moustache, a look that stripped the Saiyan Prince of
10:20all regality and made him look like he was a 70s adult film star.
10:25Fans practically cheered from the rooftops when he finally shaved it off.
