00:00How far away do you feel you are from your sharpest and best levels now?
00:08Hello, everyone, it's been a difficult season for me personally,
00:13I had a few complications throughout the season,
00:16obviously these last couple of months are the ones that matter the most,
00:21where you decide things, and I don't feel I'm in my best form at the moment,
00:27but certainly by playing I will get there, and I always try to do my best no matter what.
00:34How far away do you feel you are, what do you feel you need to take that step
00:37that gets you to your best level?
00:40You never know, it's football, I don't play alone, it's not an individual sport,
00:46so there are a lot of things that you can't control yourself,
00:52but one thing you can do is give your best, and like I said, that's always what I do on the pitch.
00:57We're also seeing Mo on course for possibly the greatest individual season in the Premier League,
01:02what do you make of the numbers he's again backed up this season?
01:06It's outstanding, I think at the moment people almost stop counting,
01:13because it's just doing incredible things, and in the end we'll just see the final numbers,
01:18because, like you said, he's for sure the player I played with the biggest season,
01:26and the difference is so big that it's like, let's see the final numbers.
01:31Obviously that helps us a lot, because we know we can rely on him to do a lot of things,
01:36create chances, either scoring or assisting,
01:39and obviously it's good to have a player like that in the team.
01:42And you're 1-0 up in this tie, you've got a cup final at the end of the week as well,
01:47and you're 16 points clear in the title race,
01:50how much are you thinking about the possibility of delivering multiple trophies this season?
01:55It's a big week, we knew that before,
01:58Southampton game was massive because it's the only game we played this month for the Premier League,
02:02so we did our job there, and now two more games in this week for two different competitions,
02:07one is decisive, I think two are decisive, but one is the trophy in the line already,
02:12so, yeah, one game at a time, it's tomorrow, it's a big game and we obviously want to go through,
02:19and obviously on the weekend to win the first trophy, but like I said, one game at a time.
02:31You had to be very patient in that first leg yourself,
02:35and you're a player that just wants to get the ball and put it in the back of the net,
02:38when you're facing that type of opposition in PSG,
02:41what's that like when you have to stay patient, and do you expect that in this leg?
02:46Yeah, I think they had the ball more than we expected,
02:49they dominated the game in a way, they created chances,
02:52and obviously we were too far away from their goal a lot of the time,
02:58but in the end we won the game, so we know that,
03:03obviously tomorrow here with our fans we want to show a different face,
03:07and the game will be different for sure, but in the end we just want to go through.
03:19Hi, Diego, do you think that game last week was the toughest of the season
03:23for yourself and Liverpool in general?
03:26Yes, I think so, at least in my opinion, I obviously missed some games of the season,
03:31but I think the way the game went was not the plan, let's say,
03:36I think that shows us as well that even though things were not going well,
03:40the way we could work hard and stay in the game to eventually take our opportunity like we did,
03:47means a lot as well, and shows the character these players have,
03:51and that is also very positive to take into the reminder of the season.
03:59Hi, Diego, tomorrow actually marks four years since your last goal in the Champions League,
04:04and obviously last season...
04:05Four years.
04:06Four years, exactly, yeah.
04:09Obviously you did well in the Europa League last season,
04:11but I was going to ask you, are you aware of this, but it sounds like you weren't,
04:16how determined are you to be able to make a mark in this elite competition?
04:20Let it be four years then.
04:23I think stats are also a part of today's game especially,
04:28but they don't say everything, but, well, I want to score, obviously,
04:33but that's not a factor that will impact my game at all tomorrow,
04:39and, yeah, if I don't score and we go through, I don't mind keep adding a few more days into it.
04:45Karl.
04:47Hi, Diego, you said you're not at your best form at this moment,
04:52when would you say was the last time you were at your best form,
04:55because obviously Inter have played a big part in the last few years, really.
04:59I don't know, obviously, sometimes you can have bad games,
05:04sometimes you can also have good games when you're at the form that you're talking about,
05:08it's like when you have a certain amount of games.
05:11I think in the end, as long as you keep being useful to the team,
05:15that's the most important, and sometimes not only the stats,
05:18but the way you can connect to your teammates and the way you can help the team defensively,
05:22and how can you, in the end, help the team getting the win.
05:27I think that's what I try to do every time I'm on the pitch,
05:32but obviously as a striker I want to get involved in scoring goals,
05:36creating those opportunities, and every game it's a new opportunity to do that.
05:43Any more? No?
05:45Thank you, Edu.
05:46Yeah, thank you.
