00:00The Department of Transportation will not allow any type of abuse

00:06as a result of the members of the Office of Transportation Security's viral blockade

00:12of a senior citizen in Naia because he fired a bullet in his luggage.

00:17According to Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon,

00:20he will now be investigated.

00:26Angelique was followed by the Senate on the incident in Naia Terminal 3 on March 6,

00:34where three security personnel accused a senior citizen of firing a bullet inside the airport.

00:45This post went viral on social media.

00:48The 69-year-old woman, along with her family,

00:52were accused by the security personnel of the Office of Transportation Security

00:56for the physical inspection of the bullet.

00:58Because of this, the issue of firing a bullet in Naia went viral.

01:02According to Senator Grace Poe, the authorities should not overlook the incident,

01:07especially since it could lead to trauma to the passengers.

01:11Therefore, as an action of the Department of Transportation,

01:14the three security personnel of the OTS in Naia Terminal 3,

01:18based on the first investigation of the DOTR,

01:21then the senior citizen went through an X-ray scanner

01:24and was taken to the airport to go to Vietnam.

01:27They were chased by the security personnel for the physical inspection

01:31because a bullet was found in their luggage.

01:35No bullet was found on them,

01:37and the children were almost left behind due to the incident.

01:42We will not tolerate this sort of behavior against our citizens.

01:47So we are hereby announcing the termination of all the people in the OTS

01:52who were involved in this incident.

02:23while the luggage was being inspected and no one was seen inside.

02:26The X-ray itself, do we have a video recording of the X-ray passers-by?

02:33Or is there some kind of recording so they can go back

02:37and see what they saw that looked like a bullet?

02:47Angelique, earlier in the press briefing,

02:49the DOTR did not release a copy of the X-ray machine

02:53that the three personnel were saying.

02:56But according to the information, based on the DOTR,

02:59someone saw that the security personnel looked old,

03:04so they chased the group of passers-by.
