Trump discusses Ukraine peace talks, TikTok sale and possible government shutdown  US President Donald Trump addressed a range of topics aboard Air Force One on Sunday, March 9, as he traveled to Washington, D.C., after spending the weekend in Florida.  Speaking to reporters on the flight, Trump said he expects positive outcomes from US talks with Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia. He also noted that his administration has nearly lifted an intelligence pause on Ukraine and is reviewing various tariff measures on Russia. Additionally, he downplayed concerns over joint military exercises involving Russia, China, and Iran.  On the possibility of a government shutdown, Trump said he doesn’t expect one, adding that he believes the House of Representatives will secure enough votes to pass a funding bill through September 30. 00:08get something done. A lot of people died this week, as you know, in Ukraine. Not only Ukrainians,

00:16but Russians. So I think everybody wants to see it get done. We're going to make a lot of progress,

00:21I believe, this week. And let's see what happens with the whole Russia-Ukraine thing. I think

00:25you're going to have, eventually, and maybe not in the distant future, you're going to have some

00:30pretty good results coming out of Saudi Arabia this week. Well, I think they will sign the

00:36minerals deal, but I want them to want peace. How do they show that?

00:42Well, right now they haven't shown it to the extent that they should. I think right now they

00:46haven't, but I think they will be. And I think it's going to become evident over the next two

00:51or three days. Would you consider lifting the intel pause on Ukraine? What does Ukraine have?

00:56Well, we just about have. I mean, we really just about have. And we want to do anything

01:01we can to get Ukraine to be serious about getting something done.

01:08So do you think there's going to be a deal on TikTok soon?

01:10There could be. We're dealing with four different groups,

01:14and a lot of people want it, and it's up to me. So there could be.

01:18Russia, China, and Iran are doing military exercises together. Does that concern you?

01:23No, not at all. Not at all.

01:25Why not?

01:26Because we're stronger than all of them. We have more power than all of them.

01:31Is there going to be a government shutdown at the end of this week?

01:33Could happen. I mean, the Democrats want that. They want to destroy the country.

01:38So I can't tell you, but it could happen. It shouldn't have happened, and it probably won't.

01:45I think the CR is going to get passed, we'll see, but it could happen.
