00:00We always try to maintain good relations with our neighbours.
00:06Because our Aitul Bihari Vajpayee ji used to say that we can change friends, but we cannot change our neighbours.
00:15One nation, one election should start in India.
00:20Any political party should do what it says.
00:24There should be no difference between saying and doing.
00:27I do not expect Pakistan to return POK to us.
00:32I believe that only the people of POK will demand that we merge with Jammu and Kashmir.
00:39Even the people of Kashmir are beginning to feel that if we want our development,
00:45then we can develop our area only by joining with a country like India.
00:52We are not going to differentiate on the basis of caste or religion.
00:56India wants to maintain good relations with its neighbours.
01:02And Bangladesh is also our neighbouring country.
01:06We always try to maintain good relations with our neighbours.
01:13Because our Aitul Bihari Vajpayee ji used to say that we can change friends, but we cannot change our neighbours.
01:24We are not going to differentiate on the basis of caste or religion.
01:29This should have been done a long time ago.
01:32I agree that there has been a lot of delay in this.
01:35But our Prime Minister Modi ji is truly a saint.
01:41He has decided that this bill should be brought forward.
01:46One nation, one election should start in India.
01:52Government will save a lot of money.
01:57I cannot tell you the exact figure.
01:59But lakhs of crores of rupees will be saved.
02:03And secondly, a long time goes by in the election campaign.
02:08Sometimes the panchayat is being elected.
02:10Sometimes the municipal corporations are being elected.
02:14Sometimes the MLA is being elected.
02:16Sometimes the MP is being elected.
02:18Sometimes the district boards are being elected.
02:20Sometimes the district panchayats are being elected.
02:22So, in a short period of time, it will be decided that the Lok Sabha, Bidhan Sabha, all the elections will be held together.
02:31And our local Wadis, their elections will all be held together.
02:34So, I think a lot of money will be saved.
02:38And at the same time, time will be saved.
02:41I would like to thank the government of Delhi, the government of the Indian People's Party.
02:48And I would also like to praise it.
02:51The government is fulfilling the commitment that was made before the election.
02:55And I believe that any political party should do what it says.
03:02There should be no difference between saying and doing.
03:05Because there is a difference between saying and doing, there is a crisis of trust.
03:09But the Indian People's Party is the only political party in India
03:14that has accepted the crisis of trust that has arisen in the politics of India as a challenge.
03:19So, wherever our government is, whether it is of any state or central government,
03:26we do what we say.
03:28And this was a commitment.
03:30Our Delhi government is fulfilling that commitment.
03:34I believe that the delimitation should be allowed by Mr. Stalin.
03:39If there is a problem somewhere, he can solve that problem.
03:42He will discuss the relevant forum.
03:45He will decide on whatever is justified.
03:48But all the citizens of the country should be assured that
03:53seats in every state, whether it is the Vidhan Sabha or Lok Sabha,
03:59will naturally increase.
04:02This is what I believe.
04:03It will increase in Tamil Nadu, it will increase in Andhra, it will increase in Karnataka, it will increase in Kerala.
04:09It is not right to say that only seats will increase in North India and not in South India.
04:16I do not expect Pakistan to return POK to us.
04:21I believe that the people of POK will demand that we be merged in India,
04:26that we be joined with Jammu and Kashmir.
04:29Because the way India is developing economically,
04:36and the way India is growing internationally,
04:41and looking at that, the people of Pak-occupied Kashmir have also begun to feel that
04:49if we want our own development,
04:52then we can develop our region only by joining with a country like India.
04:59I do not call it a country, I call it a region.
05:01POK can also develop this region.
05:04So I believe that the people of POK will demand that we be merged in India.
05:10And Pakistan will be helpless.
05:12POK will not even need Pakistan's consent.
05:17This is what I believe.
05:19May God give them wisdom.
05:21And I believe that the ancient traditions of India, the culture of India,
05:27and everyone should have faith in it.
05:32As far as the government is concerned, I would like to make it very clear
05:36that we are not going to discriminate on the basis of caste or religion.
05:43As you yourself said,
05:45Waqf-e-vote is such a property that
05:47it is not being used in the way it should be used by the people of the Muslim community.
05:56The purpose for which Waqf-e-vote was created is not being fulfilled.
06:02That is why our government has brought an amendment bill related to this
06:07to the Indian Parliament.
06:09And I have complete faith that this will be fulfilled in both the hands of the Indian Parliament.
06:16And it should be fulfilled.
06:18Our government has made this decision after careful consideration.
06:23And the Prime Minister had a strong desire
06:26that the participation of women should increase in our armed forces.
06:30And that is why this decision was made.
06:33Because if you look at the pages of India's ancient history,
06:37you will come to the conclusion that
06:39at times, whenever our country was in need,
06:43women have shown their courage and bravery.
06:46If in ancient India, women can show their courage and bravery,
06:51then why not in modern India?
06:54That is why we have decided.
06:56Today, if you look at the sports sector,
06:59or any other sector, education sector,
07:02where women are playing an important role
07:07and are showing their capability,
07:10then their participation should also be there in the army.
07:15That is why the government has decided.
07:21That is why the government has decided.
