00:00The Department of Labor and Employment has intensified their advocacy and programs for the well-off workers in the country.
00:08According to Director Alvin Currada of the Bureau of Working Conditions of DOLE,
00:12they ordered the employers to conduct assessments on their employees who have comorbidities,
00:19particularly those who are exposed to the outside or exposed to the sun.
00:22Currada explains that employers can make sure that the shift in working hours is fulfilled.
00:27Proper ventilation is also needed in offices, factories, and other facilities.
00:32In addition, under Department Order 198, there is an administrative fine of P50,000 per day
00:39for employers who do not comply with the guidelines issued by DOLE.
