00:00The Office of the Civil Defense is eager for their actions to reach the public
00:04who are affected by the hot weather in the country.
00:08In their released Memorandum No. 66, the OCD urges
00:13that their department is ready to help and respond
00:16to incidents related to heat-related injuries and illnesses.
00:20They are also helping in the treatment of injuries
00:23as well as in the information drive
00:26on how to avoid the hot weather.
00:30According to OCD Spokesperson-Attorney Chris Bendijo,
00:33their emergency vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies
00:38have already arrived in the areas they are targeting
00:40such as Dagupan City, Ibasambales, San Isidro, Bulacan,
00:44Tanawan, Batangas, and San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
00:47According to Bendijo, they have not yet experienced
00:50serious heat-related injuries and illnesses in the country.
00:53We are here with the participation of local government units,
00:57local DRMM offices, and our volunteers.
01:03We have a lot of accredited volunteers.
