00:00I was not always this confident, I had eating disorder, I hated my body.
00:17When I look in the mirror now, I see a young, powerful, unstoppable woman that is ready
00:23to take on the world.
00:41My name is Alex and I'm a founder of Slaywear London, a body positive company with a soul.
00:47Our main thing is gym wear, but we do have sports bra, tracksuits for men and women,
00:53any shape, any size.
01:03When I first started to get into fitness, I really struggled because I couldn't find
01:07anything that could fit me.
01:08I was much bigger than I am now, I had to exercise in men's clothes that would just
01:12stick to me and make me feel really uncomfortable.
01:15Probably that was the darkest time of my life because no matter what I did, how often
01:19I went to the gym, how I tortured myself with these different diets, juices and everything
01:24else, I still wasn't happy with myself and I didn't embrace myself.
01:34That's why I decided to do Slaywear because I never wanted a single woman, no matter what
01:39size, to step into the gym and start a new journey with fitness and feel like this.
01:53I do have quite a personal relationship with all my customers because most of them come
01:58to me with an issue looking for an answer.
02:09I'll personally size them and I will tell them what is the best gym wear for them.
02:13When they walk into that new environment, they feel absolutely amazing and empowered.
02:26If you are struggling, please, please, please, go and slay.
