00:54I want to go through some stats right now, so you know this.
00:57In November, you set the record for most active subscriptions on Twitch and became the platform's most subscribed live streamer.
01:05Yeah, I ain't gonna lie, that was crazy.
01:09How does it all start out?
01:11When did it start? When did you start doing it? When did you go on Twitch?
01:17I was doing YouTube for a little bit and after I was like, you know what, I want to start streaming.
01:21I was watching Twitch growing up.
01:24Summit was one of the first ones on Twitch that I was watching.
01:27And as I kept watching Twitch and seeing how the communities were, I was like, I want to stream.
01:32And in February of 2021, I started streaming.
01:36Not too long ago.
01:37And then a mouse ran out in my room, and then we're here.
01:41Go backwards, yeah. Wait, a mouse ran out in your room?
01:44A mouse. You know, I'm from the Bronx, so I stayed in the Bronx, I was streaming from the Bronx.
01:48And midstream, I'm doing push-ups, you know, I'm just doing my thing.
01:51Mice runs under, right under my chest. Literally.
01:56And did you know? In front of thousands of people.
01:58Yeah. Yes, I thought it was over.
02:00Did you see a mouse or no?
02:02Yes, I literally see, there's a clip out there somewhere of a mouse running under my chest.
02:07But did you know it was under there?
02:08No, I didn't even know. And my brother, early on in the week, he was like, yo, I'm gonna warn you.
02:13I know you're streaming and stuff like that, but we got a mouse in here.
02:17And I was like, nah, it's good, it's good. I didn't see him the whole week.
02:21The time where I decide to stream, he just wanna run out and just make a live appearance in front of everybody.

02:47And let me understand this. Sometimes you do 24 hour streams.

02:53The longest I've done was 30 days straight. 24 hours, every second of the day, them watching me.
02:57Kai, what are you talking about? How do you do that?
02:59I literally just do it. What do you mean?
03:01I know, you just do it, but that's insane.
03:03I start stream, you know, I start stream and then 30 days.

03:0830 days straight, like literally no longer than 30 seconds off camera.
03:11Like no longer than, just me using the bathroom is the only time I'm off camera. Like literally.
03:15And how do you plan for that? How do you prepare for that?
03:18So if I know I'm doing a 30 day stream or a long stream in general, the first thing I'm going to do is,
03:22first thing, I get off the internet, like I literally log off of it and I just remove myself from here
03:28so I don't really know what's going on.
03:29I try to keep up with it a little bit, but like I'm not really know what's going on.
03:32And then I spend my time with like loved ones, my mom, my family and who I had to.
03:36And then it's like, it feel like, like I got to, like I want to do like the NBA finals or something.
03:42Like it's like I'm going out there to win a championship.
03:44Really?
03:45Yeah. And that's how I prepare myself like that.
03:48I get off the internet and I just make sure that I put all my soul and focus into the creativity.
03:53And then, yeah, I just do a little praying. I pray to God a lot.
03:56And yeah. And then the rest is history.

04:31So, listen. In my room, just me and my homeboys, just trying to see who got more Riz than the other person.
04:37We start saying it on stream, they take it, TikTok thons it, and it's over with.

04:45And it becomes a word in the dictionary.
04:47I did not know that was going to happen at all.

04:54But when I first started saying it on my stream, I already knew the meaning for it.
04:58So, we just kept saying it.
04:59It just was catchy.

05:01But that's a good analogy, though. I'm not going to lie.
05:04I feel like I invented the word Riz, too, with you.
05:07But what is the most unexpected use of the word Riz?
05:11You ever see somebody use it?
05:12Oh, my gosh, yes.
05:13I was literally chilling in my room and a commercial came on when I was watching, I think, sports or something.
05:21And it was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer.
05:24And one of the Ninja Turtles said they had more Riz than the other.

05:29I'm like, what? They just said that that was the most unexpected word.
