Volkswagen presents its new electric car

German car manufacturer Volkswagen on Wednesday, March 5, presented its new entry-level electric car, the ID.EVERY1, in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The car is slated to enter the market with a selling price of 20,000 Euro (21,000 USD) in 2027 and will target sales in the European market.

Volkswagen needs to increase its electric car sales to reach the limit values for CO2 emissions set by the European Union and avoid harsh fees. With the introduction of smaller new electric cars, Volkwagen is hoping for fresh momentum in their sales.
