00:00In the 6th century BC, a few years before the birth of the Prophet, there was a ruler of Yemen whose name was Abraha.
00:15He swore that he would destroy the Kaaba.
00:20His goal was to transfer the trade of Mecca to his city.
00:26Therefore, he decided to destroy the Kaaba.
00:30Abraha took a powerful army and marched towards Mecca.
00:35An army that the people of Mecca had never seen before.
00:40He also had elephants, which were strange and surprising for the Arabs.
00:47They had never seen such a big animal before.
00:50No one in the tribes of Mecca could stop him.
00:54Abraha came with all his strength and determination.
00:58And he was ready to destroy any obstacle.
01:03At that time, the leader of Mecca was Abdul Mutalib, who was the grandfather of the Prophet.
01:13When he learned of the arrival of this army, he ordered the people of Mecca to leave the city.
01:20Because he knew that it was impossible to fight this powerful army.
01:26He prayed to Allah to protect the Kaaba and send help.
01:34He was sure that Allah's power was greater than the power of any army and elephants.
01:42When Abraha's army marched towards the Kaaba, his biggest elephant refused to move.
01:49The whole army was in turmoil.
01:52The elephants were not ready to move forward.
01:56They tried to shake them again and again.
01:59But they remained in their place.
02:03What happened next was described in Surah Al-Fil.
02:08Allah sent a flock of birds.
02:11They had small stones in their claws and claws.
02:16They started raining those stones on the army.
02:20As a result, the elephants were afraid.
02:24And a great army was destroyed by the ordinary stones of the birds.
02:41This incident was so important that that year was called the year of the Elephant.
02:59The Kaaba was safe.
03:01And Abraha failed in his conspiracy.
03:05This incident reminds us that the real power is only from Allah.
03:12And no army or weapon can compete with His power.
