A very special concert will celebrate Star Wars Day at SEC Armadillo, Glasgow on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The Music of Hans Zimmer vs. John Williams comes to the iconic venue with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra paying homage to two of the greatest film composers of all time – including Williams, who gave us the Star Wars music.
Featured music from Star Wars will include Across the Stars (Attack of the Clones), Princess Leia’s Theme (A New Hope), Throne Room & Finale (A New Hope) and Rey’s Theme (The Force Awakens).
Since the release of the first Star Wars movie over 40 years ago, the saga has been captivating audiences worldwide with its music scores and groundbreaking visuals.
The orchestra will also perform epic scores from Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, E.T., Batman, The Dark Knight and more.
