00:10There is also a new petition that was submitted to disqualify Congressman Erwin Tulfo from the senatorial race.

00:19After the shooting of the beautiful Vice Mayor Omar in Maman this Monday and a few incidents of election-related violence,

00:3138 areas of concern will be added that were mentioned by Comelec in the red category.

00:38These are the areas where there is a serious threat of election-related violence.

00:43Comelec noticed that there is an increase in the number of violence, particularly in Cotabato City and Maguindanao, as the election draws near.

00:53There were a few barangay officials and candidates who died or were injured in the past few days.

01:05There were also a few children who were sacrificed during the conduct of violence.

02:05The second petition for disqualification was presented by ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo.

02:13It was submitted to the Comelec by Berteni Catalunya-Causing, Graph Free Philippines Foundation, Inc. and Diosdado Villar Catalonge.

02:21Some of them pointed out in the petition that Tulfo should be disqualified because he was convicted of four counts of libel,

02:29which is considered moral turpitude or violation of the standards of society.

02:34Tulfo is not a Filipino but a U.S. citizen.

02:38He is part of the political dynasty that is prohibited by the Constitution.

02:43Tulfo said that he is ready to answer the case filed by Causing,

02:47that he is a lawyer who was removed from the Supreme Court with a license

02:52and was declared by the Comelec as a nuisance candidate in the senatorial elections.

02:57He denied his right to file a complaint and the judgment was deferred to the Comelec.

03:03The May 12 elections are still pending.

03:06The Comelec said that it will help those who will not be disqualified from the four survey firms.

03:11Tomorrow is the same as the suspension of the surveys during the election period.

03:16The Comelec sent a notice on the 34th party list

03:21to remove their campaign materials that are not in the right size and location

03:25and did not use environment-friendly materials.

03:29The Comelec also said that 48.5 million balotas were printed or 69% of their target was printed.
