00:20of the Amazon Prime series Ziddi Girls. Ziddi Girls is a fictional series exploring the
00:33lives of five students in a fictional college called Matilda House, referred to as MH. Shonali
00:38Bose, a Miranda House alumna, shopped the series on the Miranda House campus itself.
00:43But the show's trailer depicted students watching pornography on campus and rebelling against
00:47faculty. This sparked outrage with many students and faculty calling it a barely disguised reference
00:52to Miranda House. As matters escalated, Delhi University Students Union also intervened to
00:57condemn the series. After the backlash, the makers released a second trailer with a
01:15disclaimer stating that the series was a work of fiction and not intended to defame any institution.
