Glynde fruit fly outbreak impacting Adelaide Hills growers

A 15-kilometre suspension zone was formed after fruit fly maggots were found in homegrown peaches at Glynde. Two Adelaide Hills strawberry growers in the zone are calling for changes to national fruit fly protocols. The state's primary industries department says it has been advocating to the Australian government to reduce the size of the current 15km suspension zone for Queensland fruit fly.
