00:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured that the Presidential Communications Office will be a part of the government in the future.

00:27According to the President, they will ensure that every Filipino will have a voice through the PCO and the leadership of the new leaders here.

00:37This is under the leadership of the new PCO Secretary, J. Ruiz.

00:41Also, PCO Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro, who is also the Palace Press Officer.

00:48They will also ensure that the President will add that aside from having a voice,

00:53the PCO will also provide the Filipinos with the necessary information and knowledge

00:59and will be part of the government in the formation of the new Philippines.

01:03Yesterday, Ruiz formally asked President Marcos, as PCO Secretary, along with Undersecretary Castro.

01:10Ruiz told him that the ordinary Filipino should know all the programs that can help the people and prioritize these before anything else.

01:22Secretary Ruiz hopes that the media will be able to provide the right information

01:28while appealing to the public not to believe in fake news.

01:33We are partners in providing the information.

01:37Of course, to the people, don't just believe in fake news, let's fight fake news.

01:44And in the middle of the new line-up of the agency, Undersecretary Castro was given the honor

01:49that he will not be the Presidential Spokesperson, just like President Marcos,

01:53to speak for himself.

01:56His role will be to explain the pronouncements and directives of the Palace and the PCO.
