Around the world, the demand for water is increasing but the supply is not. By 2050, one in four people will live in a country suffering from water shortages. Banks, investment funds and hedge funds are all investing billions into anything water related and causing a monopolisation of one of Earth’s most crucial resources. This documentary investigates the financialization of water and the new power relations that come with access to it.
