When you first set up your Ad Campaign, always start by selecting maximise clicks as your bidding strategy. It helps you drive as much traffic as possible to your site.

But here is the catch. Once you have run your Ads for a bit and gathered at least 20 conversions, switch the bidding strategy to maximise conversions. Why do we do this? Because it shifts the focus from just getting clicks to actually getting you more leads. A lot of businesses make the mistake of sticking with maximised clicks even after they have seen some traffic. The problem is it doesn't prioritise conversions. Just people visiting your site.

If your Ads bring in many clicks but no actual leads, this change is usually the game changer. By switching to maximise conversions, Google starts showing your Ads to the right audience, those who are more likely to take action.
