02:37It is a miracle.
02:39Today, thanks to the humanistic commitment of His Majesty the Queen Lalla Asma,
02:49This is why His Majesty the Queen Lalla Asma held signings on the three partnership agreements.
02:57It aims to strengthen the basic structures of identification centers,
03:01enhance the field of hearing, and enhance cooperation with partner countries.
03:06It is clear that the United Nations program is doing its best year after year
03:13to enhance its achievements and expand the base of the children who benefit from Morocco
03:18and many of the brotherly and friendly countries,
03:21in an effort to alleviate the suffering of deaf children
03:25and give them hope of discovering the world through the sense of hearing.
03:31This year, we have 106 children who will benefit from this operation.
03:35They come from African countries, as well as from Arab countries,
03:39such as Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
03:41They are Moroccan children.
03:44These children will be operated on in university hospitals,
03:51in Rabat, Marrakesh, Talbida and Fes.
03:54At the same time, there will be training for African doctors.
03:59The United Nations program is doing its best year after year
04:03to enhance its achievements and expand the base of the children who benefit from Morocco
04:08and many of the brotherly and friendly countries,
04:11in an effort to alleviate the suffering of deaf children.
04:14This year, there will be 17 specialists in the diseases of the nose, ears and throat,
04:19and 17 speakers, each belonging to one of the affected countries,
04:25in Rabat Medical College and its hospital centers,
04:29in order to ensure the continuity of medical care in their native countries.
04:37In a remarkable development,
04:39the Center for Judicial Research,
04:42which is affiliated to the General Directorate of National Land Surveillance,
04:46in the framework of the ongoing research on the background of the dismantling of a terrorist cell
04:50linked to Daesh in the Sahel region,
04:53was able to observe strong field information
04:56with technical data on the existence of a mountainous area,
05:00which is suspected to be a background base for logistical support with weapons
05:06and the ammunition directed to the members of this cell
05:10in order to implement its terrorist plans.
05:14Fathalla Bouzidi, details.
05:17The technical experience and the process of locating sites through satellites
05:22revealed the location of the suspected area in the Rashidiyah region,
05:27specifically in the eastern bank of the Ghir River in Tal Mzeel,
05:31and the leadership of the General Directorate in the Boudnib region
05:35on the eastern borders of the Kingdom.
05:37The investigation and procedure enabled the discovery of a shipment of weapons
05:42and ammunition buried in a secluded place at the bottom of the rocky peak.
05:48It was wrapped in plastic bags and paper strips published by the State of Mali.
05:55The weapons stored in the framework of this operation are Kalashnikov weapons
06:00with two ammunition tanks, two firearms,
06:05and ten individual firearms of various types
06:10and a large amount of ammunition and firearms of different calibers.
06:16The successful excavations to this stage of the search indicate
06:20that the weapons and equipment stored were provided and sent
06:24by the leadership of the ISIS organization in the Sahel region
06:28responsible for foreign relations through illegal smuggling channels.
06:34After securing the smuggling of weapons and ammunition
06:37and hiding them in this logistical support base,
06:41the leadership of the ISIS organization sent the location updates
06:45to the coordinated team within the terrorist cell,
06:48which was dismantled by the four of them
06:51in order to move to receive them and use them in carrying out terrorist projects.
06:57In parallel with these field operations,
07:00the research and investigations carried out by the Central Office for Judicial Research
07:05are being continued under the supervision of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office
07:09in order to discover all the links of this terrorist cell
07:13and monitor its full links with the African branch of the ISIS organization in the Sahel region.
07:35For more information about this operation,
08:03we have with us on the phone Dr. Mohammad Tayar,
08:07a researcher in strategic and security studies.
08:10Good morning, Dr. Tayar.
08:12First of all, what is the extent of the danger of these upcoming terrorist threats
08:17from the Sahel region to the Moroccan national security?
08:21Good morning, and congratulations.
08:24As for this operation, it is really very dangerous
08:31and it shows that Morocco is in an area that knows how to deal with dangers and threats.
08:43The Sahel region is close to the Moroccan southern borders
08:48since Mauritania is one of the countries in the Sahel region
08:52and this region is experiencing a severe security crisis
08:57and it has a great impact on Morocco
09:03due to the dangers it carries for the security of the Moroccan people.
09:08There are several terrorist groups,
09:12there is organized crime,
09:14there is discrimination in the borders between these countries,
09:17and these countries do not fully control their territory.
09:23Therefore, these organizations,
09:28especially the Daesh organization,
09:31the Islamic State organization in the Sahel region,
09:35which is linked to Daesh,
09:37as we said before,
09:39since the beginning of its establishment,
09:42it has announced its clear intention to target Morocco
09:48and to target its stability.
09:50Therefore, we notice that through the many cells that have been disassembled,
09:56we always find a strong connection between the person in charge of this organization
10:02and these cells.
10:08Mr. Tayyar,
10:10the search and liberation of the Central Office for Judicial Research
10:15enables today the presence of a mountainous area
10:20that is being used as a base for logistical support of weapons for this cell.
10:26How can Morocco strengthen security monitoring in mountainous areas
10:32that these terrorist groups use as a background?
10:38Morocco is making great efforts to secure its borders.
10:45Let me say that it is the most successful country in securing its borders
10:52at the regional level.
10:57There are security enhancements,
11:00whether made by the Royal Armed Forces on the borders,
11:05or even by the Royal Navy on the borders.
11:13The same applies to the rest of the Moroccan security systems.
11:18There are cameras on the borders,
11:21there is very strong monitoring,
11:25but there are some leaks that form an obstacle.
11:33This border area with Algeria
11:37really needs more monitoring,
11:43as it is located on the borders of a state or regime
11:48that is looking for all means to stimulate the internal stability of Morocco.
11:55Yes.
11:56Mr. Tayyar,
11:58as you pointed out,
12:01Morocco is the most successful country in securing its borders.
12:07But what are the challenges that Moroccan security systems
12:13can face in dealing with the smuggling of weapons across the borders?
12:18There is a very important obstacle.
12:23The African coast is one of the largest markets in the world
12:30when it comes to the trade of small arms.
12:33Whether it is about Niger or Mali,
12:39or even the eastern borders of Mauritania and South Algeria,
12:45the same applies to Libya.
12:50In the regional area,
12:53there is a wide range of small arms trade.
12:59This creates a great threat to the security of the Moroccan people.
13:07For this reason, Morocco is taking strict security measures
13:14regarding all ports,
13:16whether at the level of airports,
13:19at the level of maritime ports,
13:22and at the level of land borders.
13:25This has achieved several very important results.
13:31This is manifested through the pressures
13:34that are being announced between the two countries.
13:38Yes.
13:39Mr. Tayyar, this reality requires international cooperation and coordination.
13:45What about regional and international security cooperation?
13:49How does it affect Morocco's efforts in combating terrorism?
13:54There is no coordination between Morocco and Algeria
14:05as a neighboring country.
14:09This is completely unacceptable
14:11given the choices that Algeria adopts
14:14and the instability in Morocco's stability.
14:17For this reason,
14:18there is no coordination to build stability in this region.
14:22There is coordination with Mauritania,
14:24a regional coordination that is represented on several fronts,
14:29whether it is related to military, security, or other coordination.
14:33There is also coordination with the Spanish neighbor,
14:36which is manifested in the joint dismantling of many cells
14:43that target the Spanish interests
14:47and also the joint sides between the two countries.
14:53Therefore, there is coordination between Morocco
15:00and neighboring countries
15:02in many aspects related to security issues.
15:09Therefore, Algeria is the one that forms a clear obstacle
15:17that rejects any cooperation and coordination
15:23in order to eliminate risks and threats.
15:29Thank you very much, Dr. Mohamed Tayyar,
15:32researcher in strategic and security studies,
15:35for all these clarifications.
15:38The destruction of Moroccan security systems
15:42is a dangerous terrorist plot
15:45that targets the Kingdom.
15:47It is a new type of strike against terrorist organizations
15:51in the coastal region
15:53thanks to a preemptive strategy
15:56and a well-planned plan for the Moroccan security systems.
16:00Mariam Tsouri, for more details.
16:03The coastal region has become one of the areas
16:06that are in conflict in the African continent.
16:09In several places,
16:11terrorist groups seek to threaten security
16:15and regional stability.
16:17Morocco is one of the countries
16:19that face this danger directly and indirectly.
16:23Moroccan security systems
16:25continue to resist the plans of these groups.
16:31They adopt effective strategies
16:33based on comprehensive and competitive security approaches
16:37and strict security procedures
16:39that have enabled Morocco
16:41to contain dangerous threats.
16:44As a result,
16:45they conduct a type of strike against terrorist organizations
16:49in the coastal region
16:51that are trying to set foot in the Kingdom.
16:55They seek to carry out destructive operations
16:58that Moroccan security systems are confronting
17:01by monitoring terrorist cell movements
17:04and any attempts to penetrate the country's security.
17:09Experts in international security and defense
17:13have confirmed that Morocco
17:15is working actively to confront the terrorist threat
17:19that is now crossing the borders of the countries of the coastal region.
17:24They have emphasized the professionalism
17:26of the Moroccan security systems
17:28that have made the Kingdom an active player
17:31in regional and international cooperation
17:33to thwart any terrorist plans.
17:39Our news is continuous
17:41and the time is renewing in the sports world.
