00:00We do have the Winnipeg Jets rolling hot out of the break.
00:04They were hot going into it.
00:06Hopefully, they can roll hot coming out of it.
00:08It will be Conor Hellebuyck versus Jordan Bingington
00:11with the St. Louis Blues.
00:13So we will see if we will see either of them in that.
00:15Right now, it's Joel Hoffer expected
00:17for the St. Louis Blues.
00:19As for the Winnipeg Jets, they are listing Conor Hellebuyck
00:23as the expected goaltender.
00:24I would think they would give him the night off,
00:26but we will see.
00:28Talking about the players that were
00:30playing in the four nations, there's so many players
00:32up and down the board that we did see.
00:35And a lot of these teams, multiple players as well.
00:38The Washington Capitals being the only team
00:40other than the San Jose Sharks that
00:42didn't have any players represented
00:44in the four nations.
00:45So you've got to look for the Capitals
00:47to come out nice and strong as we go into the later
00:51part of the season.
00:53But I also want to note the playmakers that you really
00:55have to watch that might not be hitting the ice.
00:59Now, we know Matthew Kachok only played just under seven minutes
01:03in the final game yesterday for Team USA.
01:06He was so impactful for that team
01:09in the first game versus Canada, but he did sustain an injury.
01:12We didn't see him in the next game versus Sweden.
01:15And now, his likelihood of playing
01:17for Florida over the next couple of games is in jeopardy.
01:20We're unsure what that injury is.
01:23Brady Kachok saying that if his brother did
01:25miss that overtime period against Canada,
01:29like we saw him do, it must be serious out there.
01:31And of course, Brady Kachok, not a doctor.
01:33But you've got to wonder the status of Matthew Kachok
01:36and what we're going to find out.
01:38When we look at Shea Theodore of the Vegas Golden Knights,
01:41he did take a broken wrist in the four nations phase off.
01:44So defensively, we're going to have
01:46question marks around Vegas and what
01:48we're going to see with the pairings out there for Vegas.
01:51We'll face the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow.
01:53We know it can be such a potent offense,
01:55especially on the road, for the Vancouver Canucks.
01:58And then Charlie McAvoy here of the Boston Bruins,
02:02he sustained an injury in the very first game out.
02:06And now, he did play 20 minutes in that first matchup
02:09on Saturday versus Team Canada.
02:11The defenseman here for Boston then out
02:14and facing an infection in his AC joint.
02:17So how long he's going to be out for Boston
02:20is going to be a huge question mark.
02:22Now, the Boston Bruins will face the Anaheim Ducks.
02:25And we know Brad Mahachan coming out for Boston
02:28should be rolling with that high after getting
02:31the win with Team Canada.
02:33So lots of players that we can look at going into Saturday's
02:38game, how they're going to perform.
02:40Overall, the Canadian players will
02:43have celebrated last night.
02:44We know that celebration will roll into today.
02:47They've got to hit the ice on Saturday.
02:49So there might be a couple of positions, a couple of players
02:52that we do want to fade for their likelihood of maybe
02:55getting those shots on goal.
02:57But I do think, overall, you've got
02:59to look at the Florida Panthers, what's
03:02going to happen without Matthew Kachuk on the board,
03:05the Vegas Golden Knights without Shea Theodore,
03:08and then the Boston Bruins without Charlie McAvoy.
03:10That's going to be huge defensively for those teams.
03:13But like I said, we've got 14 games that we're going to see.
03:18The first game, the puck will drop at 1230 Eastern tomorrow
03:22between the Minnesota Wild and the Detroit Red Wings.
03:25We'll then get into the matchup at 1 PM
03:27Eastern between the Edmonton Oilers
03:29and the Philadelphia Flyers.
03:30This is one of the higher totals of the day between these two.
03:33We have a total coming in at 6 and 1 half.
03:37Now we know Conor McDavid should be lighting things up again.
03:41Will he need a couple of moments to get back acclimated
03:45with his team out there after playing
03:47with the likelihoods of Sidney Crosby and Nathan McKinnon?
03:50And what are we going to see out of Leon Drysaddle?
03:52Leon Drysaddle right now, the front runner for the Hart Award.
03:56But it's easy for him to be shadowed out here
03:59by the superstar Conor McDavid.
04:01So I do think Leon Drysaddle, another player
04:04that you want to watch coming out of this,
04:07he's got to feel pretty rough, I guess,
04:11I would say, not being included in the Four Nations.
04:15There are so many players out there,
04:16you guys, that really did deserve
04:18to be in these lineups.
04:20And I think Leon Drysaddle is one of them.
04:22So I'm going to be circling him tomorrow
04:24versus the Philadelphia Flyers.
04:26I think he's a great player to look at for his any time
04:29goals on the board.
04:31And then we have the matchup between the Washington
04:33Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins,
04:35Alex Ovechkin versus Sidney Crosby.
04:38Alex Ovechkin, of course, not part of the Four Nations.
04:41The Russian player out here versus Sidney Crosby.
04:44These two have had some fantastic meetings
04:47over the years.
04:49I believe it's 72 meetings in their careers together.
