00:00Thank you very much.
00:06Wow.
00:07That's — this is some crowd.
00:12How are you?
00:16Leo.
00:17This is some crowd.
00:21These — these are the best people, Tiger.
00:25And we have Adam Scott here also, winner of the
00:28Masters, one of the greatest golfers in the
00:30world.
00:30I've always tried to swing just like Adam.
00:35It never worked out that way.
00:38And, Tiger, we know.
00:39And I just want to thank Adam and Tiger and the
00:41Commissioner of Golfers.
00:43Jay, thank you very much for being here.
00:44Jay Monahan, head of the PGA.
00:47And we've had some interesting discussions.
00:50But let me ask you, is there anybody like our
00:52Tiger?
00:53How are you?
00:54He's a great — would you want to just say a
00:57couple of words, Tiger?
00:58He doesn't.
00:59He's much more comfortable.
01:03Tiger.
01:03Tiger.
01:04Tiger.
01:05Tiger.
01:05Tiger.
01:06Tiger.
01:07Hey, it's an honor to be here.
01:11It's an honor to be here with you, Mr. President,
01:13and to be on the road here with all of you.
01:16Thank you so much.
01:17I'll be right over here.
01:22Thanks, Tiger.
01:26And I want to thank all of you very much for being
01:29here.
01:30Welcome to the White House.
01:31And we proudly celebrate Black History Month.
01:36How are you, darling?
01:38Today, we pay tribute to the generations of black
01:41legends, champions, warriors, and patriots who
01:44helped drive our country forward to greatness.
01:46And you really are great.
01:48You're great people.
01:49What a great, nice group of — I have some people in
01:54front of me every once in a while with all the
01:56problems that are caused all over the world.
01:59They're not — they're not nice.
02:01They're not nice.
02:02And — but we're making — but we're making them
02:05nice, I can tell you that.
02:06And we're making them nice rapidly.
02:09So we're pleased to be joined in this really
02:11beautiful afternoon at the White House by
02:13hundreds of incredible members of the
02:15African-American community —
02:17many of whom are making history themselves,
02:23including one of the greatest athletes of all
02:25time, who you just said hello — the man who
02:28matched Sam Snead's number-one record for the
02:31most PGA Tour wins ever.
02:33And a man who has 15 majors.
02:36And he's got a long way to go, too.
02:38I was with him a week ago.
02:40We played.
02:40I think — Adam, I think he's got some left,
02:43doesn't he?
02:44Huh?
02:44He's got a couple of majors left, maybe more
02:46than that.
02:47But Tiger Woods, he's an incredible guy, an
02:49incredible athlete, incredible player.
02:51Thank you for being with us, Tiger.
02:52Thank you very much.
02:53And he got the Presidential Medal of
02:56Freedom, which he proudly wore today.
02:58And it's — we have Senator Tim Scott here.
03:01What do you think, Tim?
03:02You never got the Presidential Medal.
03:05Maybe someday.
03:07Maybe someday.
03:08You better believe it.
03:09And also, Adam, thank you very much.
03:12Adam is, as Tiger will tell you, one of the
03:15greatest players and one of the great modern
03:17players.
03:18And he had 32 wins worldwide, and winning
03:22the Masters also.
03:23And he's something very special.
03:25And a great representative of golfers and
03:28athletes.
03:29Thank you very much, Adam.
03:30Even though he doesn't quite come from our
03:31country, he sort of does.
03:32Right?
03:33He's here a lot.
03:34He comes from another nice place like
03:36Australia.
03:37Right?
03:38And they've been very good.
03:39Very, very good to us.
03:41Jay, thank you very much.
03:43Appreciate it very much.
03:44We also have the head of Pfizer here.
03:46So I want to thank him.
03:47One of the great, great people.
03:49One of the great businessmen.
03:51Thank you, Albert.
03:53Thank you very much.
03:57Thank you very much.
04:04I want to congratulate our newly sworn in
04:08Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Scott
04:10Turner.
04:11Come here.
04:12I got to say hello.
04:14Come on up here, Scott.
04:16I had Tim Scott pushing him so hard, you have no
04:19idea.
04:19I had no choice.
04:20Is that right, Tim?
04:22No, Scott is.
04:22I've known him a long time.
04:24And Scott's a real champion.
04:26Say a couple of words.
04:27Well, hello, everyone.
04:32Is everybody happy to be here together?
04:35Is everybody happy to be here together?
04:36Well, first of all, you know, I want to thank
04:41President Trump for his confidence in appointing
04:46me to this position.
04:47I consider it a great honor and a great blessing.
04:50And I thank God for this.
04:51And I'm real humbled by it.
04:53And you can guarantee that every day that I'm going
04:55to lay it down for the people of America.
04:57As Senator Tim Scott, thank you for your
05:03leadership.
05:04I really appreciate you.
05:05And for all of those who have gone before us and
05:08those of you who have such a great voice today,
05:10keep on speaking, keep on preaching for not just
05:13black America, but for all America.
05:15So we appreciate you and my sister, Brooke Rollins,
05:19and all of those here.
05:20Mr. President, we look forward to working with
05:22you, sir, and carrying out this great agenda.
05:25We pray for you every day.
05:27God bless you.
05:28And thank you.
05:28God bless America.
05:29Thank you for President Trump.
05:31And I see we have a newly I think you just got in.
05:40Right.
05:41They just confirmed you and you you did it very
05:43nicely.
05:44Brooke Rollins.
05:45She's the Secretary of Agriculture.
05:47It's a big deal.
05:47That's great, Brooke.
05:51That was a good vote.
05:51You had to.
05:52You went.
05:53You went through very easily, a little easier
05:55than some of our people.
05:57But they were all approved, every one of
05:58them.
05:59And today we just had Kash Patel approved, which is
06:01great.
06:02So, Brooke, congratulations.
06:07Secretary of Agriculture.
06:09That's big stuff, right?
06:10That's big.
06:10So you're going to do fantastically.
06:12And congratulations also to a really good friend of
06:15mine.
06:16He endorsed me early and he he was one of the best
06:19surrogates you could have.
06:20The surrogate is when you walk around and and go on
06:22television shows and they go try and beat you up.
06:25But he beat them up.
06:27There was that they didn't have a chance
06:29against Tim Scott, Senator Tim Scott from South
06:32Carolina.
06:32And he's now the longest serving black United States
06:38senator in the history of our country.
06:39I don't know.
06:41That's pretty good.
06:44He's going to be around for a long time, right?
06:46He just got married.
06:47Congratulations on that, too.
06:49Beautiful, beautiful wife.
06:51Thanks as well to Congressman John James.
06:53Where's John?
06:54James is here.
06:55Hi, John.
06:55How are you?
06:57It's a star, young star.
07:00I knew that five years ago.
07:01Right, John?
07:02I sort of predicted it.
07:04And I'm really proud to say that we now have more
07:07black Republicans serving in the U.S.
07:09House than at any time since 1870.
07:13That's a long time, 1870.
07:16So thank you very much.
07:17And, Scott, you're going to be fantastic.
07:19I'll tell you, you're going to do a great job.
07:22As you know, the Americans are going to be
07:25celebrating something very important coming up, our
07:27250th anniversary, our nation's founding.
07:31And when we do, we're going to look forward to
07:34honoring the contributions of countless black
07:36Americans who fought to win and protect and expand
07:39American freedom from the very, very beginning.
07:42And some of my good friends are here today,
07:45and I appreciate you being here.
07:46I'm not going to call out your names because Tiger
07:48will get very bored.
07:49He'll say, this is a little boring.
07:52This is a little boring if we do that.
07:54But I want to thank you all for being here.
07:56You are our friends, and we appreciate this.
07:58And you, McGee, you are my friend.
08:02The last administration tried to reduce all of
08:05American history to a single year, 1619.
08:09But under our administration, we honor
08:11the indispensable role black Americans have always
08:15played in the immortal cause of another date,
08:181776.
08:19We like 1776.
08:22In the very first skirmish of the
08:25Revolutionary War at Lexington Green, an
08:28enslaved black man named Prince Estabrook — do you
08:31know Prince Estabrook?
08:32Yeah.
08:33— answered history's call and fought as the
08:36Minutemen, alongside the other patriots of the very
08:41small Massachusetts town.
08:42It couldn't protect itself, but they did a
08:44good job.
08:45Prince was wounded in the early morning battle,
08:47becoming not only the first African American
08:50soldier to fight in the Revolution, but among the
08:53very first Americans to spill their blood — one
08:56of the first in the nation to spill blood in that
08:59very, very tough time.
09:01Soon, Estabrook joined the Continental Army and
09:03ultimately won his own freedom, along with that
09:05of his fellow Americans.
09:07His legacy will endure, and we're very proud to
09:11honor him today.
09:12It's a very important day in our country, and we
09:15honor him.
09:16First person to spill blood happened to be Tim
09:20Estabrook.
09:21Today, I'm pleased to announce that we will be
09:25including the statue of Prince Estabrook in our
09:29new National Garden of American Heroes.
09:31We have a — we're going to be doing a Garden of
09:35American Heroes.
09:36And now that I think of it, I didn't have — I must
09:39tell you, you know, sadly, most of them — I guess
09:42all of them — are not with us any longer.
09:44I was going to put Tiger in the garden, but maybe
09:46you don't want to be there.
09:47I maybe should wait a little bit, huh?
09:51Like, about 50 — I think I'm going to wait about
09:5350 years, all right?
09:55But Tiger is going to make it, okay?
09:57But I'm a little afraid to tell him yes, because
09:59he'd be the only one that's living.
10:01I don't know, Tiger.
10:03Tiger is rejecting that offer, right?
10:06Under the executive order I signed last month, this
10:09new, beautiful outdoor statue park — it's going
10:12to be a statue park.
10:14It's going to be unbelievable.
10:15We're picking the final sites now.
10:17It's between various states that want it very badly.
10:20We'll honor hundreds of our greatest Americans to
10:23ever live, including countless black Americans
10:25— icons.
10:27The garden will predominantly feature
10:30incredible women like Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks,
10:33Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, and Coretta
10:36Scott King.
10:38And I will showcase extraordinary — it will
10:42be something very extraordinary.
10:44It's going to be producing — we're going to
10:47produce some of the most beautiful works of art in
10:49the form of a statue for men like Frederick
10:52Douglass, Booker T.
10:53Washington, Jackie — Jackie Robinson.
10:56What a great athlete that was.
10:58Martin Luther King, Jr.
11:01Muhammad Ali — he's not a bad athlete.
11:04What do you think, Muhammad?
11:05Not too bad.
11:07And the late Kobe Bryant.
11:09People love Kobe Bryant.
11:10And we're going to save Tiger Woods for another
11:16time.
11:16That's all that I can — I'm sorry.
11:19During Black History Month, we pay tribute to
11:22these heroes and so many others, but not simply
11:25because they're black heroes, but also because
11:28they are truly American heroes who inspire all of
11:31us, very much so.
11:33The theme of this year's celebration is
11:35African-Americans and labor.
11:37And we want to thank all of the black workers,
11:40construction workers, and every other worker.
11:42They do a job like nobody can do.
11:45And we want to just thank them very much for their
11:47contribution.
11:48Tim, the contribution you've made, Tim, is
11:51incredible.
11:52Opportunity Zone.
11:53So many people — so many — he's the father of
11:56Opportunity Zone.
11:58I'm just the son.
11:59He's the father, because he came into the White
12:01House, the Oval Office, with this idea.
12:04And it's probably the number-one economic
12:06development project ever in our country.
12:09And I want to give Senator Tim Scott the credit for
12:12it.
12:13Good job, Tim.
12:14Of course, millions of blacks were first brought
12:18here in slavery, and they were kept in that evil
12:21condition for, really, generations.
12:23But because of the steadfast faith and
12:26courage of so many patriots of all colors, we
12:29abolished that horrific institution, expanded
12:31civil rights, and advanced America's destiny as one
12:35nation, under God, with liberty and justice for
12:38all.
12:39Just a few months ago, the people in this room and
12:45millions of other black Americans played their own
12:47part in the American story when you went to the
12:50voting booths and restored a nice, good, solid
12:55government.
12:55There's a guy that really helped.
12:57There's a man that really helped.
12:59You really are great.
13:01Thank you very much.
13:02I appreciate it.
13:03I don't forget.
13:05I'm proud to say that we received — listen to this
13:08— more votes from black Americans than any
13:11Republican President ever.
13:13Not even close.
13:17Almost — almost 40 percent of the vote.
13:20Now, I'm not — I won't be happy the next time.
13:23Should I run again?
13:23You tell me.
13:25There's — there's your controversy right there.
13:30There's your controversy.
13:32You'll be seeing that on — you're going to see
13:37— you're going to see that tonight, Tim, on
13:42television.
13:42I want to thank just a few of the people who are
13:47with us today, and these are great friends of
13:53ours.
13:54Alveda King.
13:55Alveda — where are you, Alveda?
13:56Hi, Alveda.
13:58You've been with me from day one, and I appreciate
14:01it.
14:02I won't forget it.
14:02She's a fantastic woman.
14:04Alice Johnson.
14:05Where's Alice?
14:05Boy, are you incredible.
14:08I watched you last night on television.
14:10You were so good.
14:11You know, Alice was in prison for doing
14:15something that, today, probably wouldn't even be
14:17prosecuted.
14:18She spent 22 years in prison.
14:20Twenty-two years.
14:22She had another 22 years left.
14:24Can you believe it?
14:25And I pardoned her, and it was one of the best
14:27pardons.
14:28One of the best pardons.
14:33You know what she was on?
14:34She happened to be on the wrong telephone line.
14:36Is that true?
14:37She was on a telephone call.
14:39And I'm not saying it was perfect, but it wasn't
14:41worth 40 or 50 years, Alice.
14:44And you've been an inspiration to people.
14:48And we're going to be listening to your
14:50recommendation on pardons.
14:51You're going to go over, and you're going to be
14:53— she's going to be my pardon czar.
14:55Okay?
14:56And you're going to find people just like you that
15:01should not — this should not have happened.
15:04It should not have happened.
15:05So you're going to look, and you're going to make
15:06recommendations, and I'll follow those
15:08recommendations.
15:09Okay?
15:10For pardons.
15:10All right?
15:11Thank you very much.
15:13A man who is just incredible.
15:15This guy, I watched him on — I watched him when he
15:17was a Democrat, and then, one day, he had to change
15:19because he couldn't take it any longer.
15:21And does anyone ever hear of — did anyone ever hear
15:25of a man named Leo 2.0 Terrell?
15:28Where are you?
15:29Get up here.
15:30Get up here.
15:31I love this guy.
15:32You know what he's doing now?
15:33He's with the Department of Justice.
15:35He's in charge of civil rights and lots of other
15:39great things.
15:39He's going to be working with — it's okay.
15:41Could he come up, please?
15:42Come on, Leo.
15:47Get up here.
15:51Leo 2.0.
15:52This guy is great.
15:53I love this guy.
15:55The President, you are the greatest, Tiger.
16:00I just want to say, we are in the presence of the
16:03greatest President of all time.
16:06He is the greatest President in our lifetime.
16:09And I'll tell you right now, the Democratic Party
16:11should be a worry because they took us for granted.
16:15No longer.
16:16We vote in our best interest.
16:18We want the same thing that every American wants.
16:22Good job.
16:22We want to secure a border.
16:24We want to pay lower taxes.
16:26And Mr. President, Donald Trump is doing that.
16:28Thank you, Mr. President.
16:29He's a great guy.
16:37No, I watched him.
16:38He was a radical Democrat.
16:40He became a radical Republican, right?
16:43He's great.
16:43He's in the Department of Justice.
16:45Think of it.
16:46He's doing very important work at the highest level.
16:49Also, Sage Steele.
16:50Sage, where are you?
16:51Hello, Sage.
16:53Great job you do.
16:56You're doing great.
16:58Thank you very much, Sage, for being here.
17:00Michael, Harry O.
17:01Harris.
17:02Michael.
17:03Hi, Michael.
17:04Thank you very much, Michael.
17:06Deontay Johnson.
17:08Deontay.
17:08Thank you, Deontay.
17:13Lynn Patton.
17:14She's worked for me for a long time.
17:17Lynn, she's worked for us for a long time.
17:20Bob Woodson.
17:21Where's Bob?
17:22And we're also joined by seven-time Mr. Olympia.
17:31I want to see this guy.
17:32Phil Heath.
17:33Where's Phil?
17:34Phil Heath.
17:35I don't want to compare my muscles.
17:37Here he is.
17:38Thank you, Phil, very much.
17:40I appreciate it.
17:41Will you come up here for a second?
17:42Come on, get up.
17:43I got to say, come on, you.
17:47From day one, right?
17:50From day one, he's been here.
17:52Get up.
17:53You got to say just a word.
17:54Don't fall.
17:55If you fall, it's all over.
17:57Tiger, you're not allowed to fall.
17:59You know, you can make a great speech, but if you
18:01fall going up, that's no good.
18:02Come on.
18:03Are you kidding me?
18:08Mr. President, it has been an honor of a lifetime
18:10to support you, to try to wake up as many people to
18:14the lives of the Democrat Party and the nonstop
18:18manipulation of the mainstream media.
18:20That's why I now have my show on Newsmax, so I can
18:22champion you.
18:23And I'm thankful that we've been able to champion him
18:26and get him across the finish line for another
18:28amazing four years.
18:30And let me say, I know God has chose you.
18:33He anointed you for this position.
18:36He kept you alive so you could be here today.
18:40And we prayed for that.
18:41We pray for you.
18:41We continue to pray for you.
18:43And we're thankful for your service and your
18:44sacrifice.
18:45Mr. President Donald J.
18:46Trump, honor.
18:47God bless you.
18:49From day one, I like those guys from day one.
18:57Tiger has been there from day one, too.
18:59Let me tell you, this guy is amazing.
19:02In four weeks, our new administration has
19:04achieved more than most administrations achieve in
19:07four years.
19:08We brought our country back.
19:09It's four weeks.
19:10Today is our fourth week.
19:11It's the end of the week.
19:14We start our we are now starting our fifth.
19:16And I think we've done more in four weeks.
19:18Well, certainly than the last administration did in
19:21four years.
19:21They actually went negative.
19:23They actually went in the wrong direction to get
19:25together.
19:26We're going to be fighting long and hard for black
19:29Americans and all Americans.
19:31We're going to be fighting for all Americans.
19:33We've secured a border and we're stopping the
19:36invasion of our country.
19:37You know, our border right now is more secure than
19:39it's ever been.
19:41And we had the record four years ago.
19:43We had the record.
19:44We had the lowest number in history.
19:46And now the numbers, Tim, are even lower than they
19:48were then.
19:50And we're honored.
19:51They were allowing people to come in from all over
19:54the world, from prisons and jails, mental
19:56institutions, insane asylums, gang members.
19:59They had drug dealers.
20:01They had everybody dropping in.
20:02And we had this ridiculous open border policy.
20:05They drop in.
20:06And I'll tell you, the people that were affected
20:08the most were black people.
20:10You were affected the most in terms of the crime, in
20:14terms of the drugs and everything else.
20:15And we have the border shut down.
20:18We allow people to come in.
20:19We want people to come in, Tim.
20:20But we want them to come in legally.
20:23They're going to come through legally.
20:25So we're protecting American workers, including
20:28millions of black workers.
20:29And we have a thing called reciprocal tariffs.
20:32If they charge us, we charge them.
20:34This is opening up.
20:35We just signed the bill, and we're going to take in
20:38billions and billions of dollars.
20:40And we're making our country very healthy again
20:43and very rich again.
20:44We want to be very rich again.
20:45We've been taken advantage by everybody.
20:47And you've been watching Doge, where we've —
20:50where we found billions — tens of billions of
20:55dollars of fraud and waste and abuse.
20:57And that's just the beginning.
20:59And Elon Musk has done an amazing job, I have to
21:02tell you.
21:03It's him and his super geniuses.
21:05You know, these are seriously high-IQ people.
21:09And nobody is going to talk them out of anything.
21:12They go in and they find — they're finding
21:13billions.
21:15I mean, literally tens of billions of dollars that
21:17we just started.
21:18And I think that's going to have a big, big impact,
21:21Brooke.
21:22Right?
21:22So we want to just really say — and I have to say
21:26to you, I look at this turnout, I look at the
21:28love in the room.
21:28This is just love in the room.
21:30And I remember the first time I did this, my first
21:36administration, one of my first meetings.
21:38There wasn't this large a crowd, Tiger.
21:41This — we had about five people in the front.
21:45We had maybe five — five black people right in the
21:48front, right about there.
21:50I said, is anybody else coming?
21:54Is this it?
21:55Are we open?
21:56I don't even think Tim Scott — I know Turner
21:58wasn't there.
21:59I don't think Tim Scott was there either.
22:01I'm not sure.
22:01But that's all changed.
22:04And we got the highest vote.
22:05And one of the big reasons I'm President today is
22:09because of the black vote.
22:10And I just — and I always appreciate it.
22:13So this is a very special time.
22:16It's Black History Month.
22:19We love you all.
22:20We're going to work with you.
22:21We're going to make America greater than ever
22:23before.
22:24We're going to do it together.
22:25And I want to thank you all for being here.
22:27It's an incredible honor.
22:29And to my great golfing friends, I want to thank
22:32them in particular because they really are.
22:33They make a lot of money.
22:35They don't have to be up here with me.
22:37Tiger doesn't have to be here.
22:38Adam doesn't have to.
22:39They don't need this.
22:40But they love you and they love our country.
22:43Thank you all very much.
