I think The Fantastic Four: First Steps is the perfect place for Marvel Studios to resolve one unfinished Kang the Conqueror storyline in the MCU that began in Phase 5's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The Fantastic Four and Kang the Conqueror are intimately connected in Marvel Comics, making me think that some of the MCU's unresolved Kang plot threads could be addressed in Marvel's upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie. First Steps' teaser trailer has confirmed Galactus will be the reboot's big bad, but I'd still love to see Kang's story wrapped up.
Jonathan Majors' arrest and conviction in 2023 spurred Marvel Studios to remove Kang the Conqueror and his variants from the MCU, replacing them with Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom in the now-titled Avengers: Doomsday. While Loki season 2 made an effort to provide a natural ending for Kang's storyline in the Multiverse Saga, there are still several unanswered questions that I'm desperate to see resolved. The Fantastic Four: First Steps is the perfect place to address these issues, and I think this could spell the debut of a brand-new superhero collective.
