00:00Welcome to the Daily Boost, I'm Lucy Burge of the BetMGM Network and I'm joined by Matt
00:07Horner and we have a futures bet for you today.
00:11In the NBA, it is on the Rookie of the Year in the NBA, plus $130 for Stefan Kassel.
00:18To win this award, do you think he can do it, Matt?
00:22Yeah, I think so.
00:23He's the overwhelming favorite right now.
00:27Over Kalel Ware, who is in second place, Ware is averaging 8.6 points per game.
00:31A lot of these times, when it comes down to the Rookie of the Year, I mean, they're just
00:35going to look at points.
00:36A lot of times, how many points these guys are scoring, because it's the most obvious
00:38thing, right?
00:39Kassel is scoring 12.9 points, 2.8 rebounds per game, and 3.5 assists.
00:45He's playing for a pretty talented team in the San Antonio Spurs.
00:48You know, they've got Wenbin Yama, Chris Paul, a lot of these guys.
00:50So I think he can do it, plus $130.
00:53I think those are really good odds for a guy who's pretty much going to be dead even right
00:57now to do it.
00:58So you're getting a little bit extra odds there.
01:00So I figure, why not?
01:02Love that.
01:03Get in on this bet, plus $130 for Stefan Kassel, to win NBA Rookie of the Year.
01:09And head to odyssey.com slash betting for this article by Amir Tyree on Stefan Kassel
01:16to win this award, potentially, or other contenders who are in the race.
01:20And for everything you need to bet on college basketball, as that is becoming, we are entering
01:26March Madness and NBA and the upcoming baseball season, everything you need, odyssey.com slash
01:31betting.
01:32And of course, follow us on Twitter at sharp underscore side underscore and at Lucille
01:37Verge.
01:38We have our favorite bets as well, and I'm going to college basketball, and I think we're
01:43going head to head on this, but I'm taking Alabama, plus one and a half against Missouri.
01:49They are eight and one on the road.
01:50They've covered in five of their last six on the road.
01:53Missouri has lost two of their last four.
01:56Alabama is averaging 90 points per game.
01:58Missouri averaging 82 points per game.
02:01Alabama is five and one straight up as the road favorite.
02:04So I think Alabama can cover, but I know we are going head to head.
02:08Oh, yes.
02:09Just all I got to do, honestly, is just take a look at this line and I can see that it's
02:13a trap.
02:14Now, as I always say, who is it a trap for?
02:16Is it a trap for?
02:17I mean, everybody's going to be betting Alabama right in this game.
02:20They're number four in the country.
02:22They're coming off a loss.
02:23So everybody's thinking bounce back spot for the number 14 in the country.
02:26Everybody's going to be hammering Alabama.
02:28So is it a trap for Alabama and the public betters?
02:32Or is it a trap for the sharps who are obviously going to be taking Missouri here?
02:35Number 15 in the country and their favorites against the number 14 in the country.
02:40I am always going to side with the sharp side in this one.
02:44That's definitely Missouri here.
02:46Like I said, the public is going to be all over the number four team in the country as
02:49an underdog getting plus money.
02:51And I just think Missouri is going to be the side to take home the win.
02:55I've backed Missouri, honestly, for like almost every one of their games on the spread over
03:01the last like five or six or something like that.
03:03They're an absolute wagon.
03:05So I'm taking them here as well against Alabama.
03:07So give me Missouri on the money line to take down Alabama in this spot.
03:11Love that.
03:12So we will see you come back tomorrow to see who wins in our heads ahead matchup.
03:17So get in on either one of our bets or this bet plus 130 for Stephon Castle to win and
03:23be a rookie of the year and subscribe to the Daily Boost wherever you get your podcasts.
