00:00I want to thank some of the great people from the Palm
00:09Beach County Sheriff's Office.
00:11Good afternoon, y'all.
00:12A short while ago, President Trump signed
00:15three items.
00:18The first is an executive order relating to the
00:20affordability and availability of in vitro
00:23fertilization and other fertility treatments.
00:26These are treatments that have become unaffordable
00:29for many Americans or have been unaffordable for
00:31many Americans.
00:32And the executive order is a directive to the
00:34Domestic Policy Council to examine ways to make
00:38IVF and other fertility treatments more affordable
00:41for more Americans.
00:42The second item that we signed was a presidential
00:44memorandum imposing radical transparency
00:48requirements on government departments and agencies
00:50in keeping with President Trump and the
00:52administration's broader commitment to governmental
00:55transparency.
00:56What this presidential memorandum would do is
00:59require, as waste, fraud, and abuse is uncovered, as
01:03programs are canceled, and ultimately, as taxpayer
01:06dollars are saved, this presidential memorandum
01:09would require departments and agencies to make all
01:12of the details of that freely available to the
01:15public.
01:16Lastly, we have another executive order that
01:18President Trump signed relating to independent
01:21agencies.
01:22This executive order would establish important
01:25oversight functions in the Office of Management and
01:28Budget and its subsidiary office, OIRA,
01:31supervising independent agencies and many of their
01:33actions, and also reestablishes the
01:36longstanding norm that only the President or the
01:39Attorney General can speak for the United States when
01:42stating an opinion as to what the law is.
01:46Up to 129.
01:48Three million, 472,000 people.
01:51Wow.
