Many drivers say private parking firms are too quick to issue fines. Should these companies be better regulated?

00:00I don't know. I think parking is so hard to find, so it's kind of worth copping a fine.
00:05It's like £60. It's all right. Could be worse.
00:11It's all him, I don't drive.
00:13Oh, yeah. If you park dodgy, you know you park dodgy, it's just the risk you take.
00:18So, yeah. No, it's fine.
00:20Doorbanking and buying tickets.
00:21I mean, I'd rather not, because...
00:23Came back out from the appointment.
00:25Parking ticket.
00:27Back at home, everyone goes out every day,
00:29and no-one's ever really got an unfair parking fine.
00:32So they thought, if you get a parking fine,
00:34it's because you probably shouldn't be parking, but you need to.
00:38Supposed to be parked in the wrong place.
00:41Er...
00:43And we thought I'd fault it.
00:46And, er...
00:48When they explained what it was for and all that,
00:52it actually got dropped.
00:54I'm all for regulation,
00:56and maybe giving people more time to pay their fines.
