00:00Bristol is always full of fun things to do, from music to theatre, from arts to sports.
00:07But one thing Bristol is known for is its food scene, and this week a new popular cafe, Gail's, is opening on White Ladies Road.
00:15Adriana, tell me more about that.
00:17That's right, Emma. Gail's will be opening the new site at 52 White Ladies Road, in what was previously Dobie's, on Friday 21st February.
00:28The new venue will offer artisan breads, pastries, sandwiches and cakes alongside specialty house blend coffee.
00:37That is a very exciting one for the city, especially as the brand has become very popular on social media, so we'll see how that goes.
00:47Let's stick with the theme of cafes. So a new dementia support hub and community cafe, Happy Days Hub, is going to open in the city, right?
00:56Yes, a first-of-its-kind new support hub for people concerned about or affected by dementia is set to open in Bristol soon.
01:04Happy Days Hub is due to open with Ambition House at Ambition Lawrence Western's new community building on March 24th at 2pm.
01:14The hub, run by Bristol Dementia Action Alliance, will then operate Mondays to Fridays with a community cafe open to all from 10am to 2pm.
01:25Ah, that sounds like a lovely one, and for a really, really amazing cause too.
01:31So let's move on to our final what is on in the city. Bristol Hippodrome is hosting a baby book club.
01:38Yes, it is. Bristol Baby Book Club takes stories from an independent bookstore and brings them to life with a local reader in the Bristol Hippodrome's Piano Bar.
01:48Each month the story will be different, with worlds to explore and discover together.
01:54Ah, thank you Adriana, that sounds like a lovely one for our young readers in the city.
