00:00A new park in Valenzuela was launched where it will primarily be used by skateboarders and animals.
00:09They aim to make the project more colorful and to create more space in the area.
00:16This is Jumalyn Doctolero of PIA-NCR with the news for the country.
00:23Valenzuela City Skate and Paw Park is now open for skateboarding enthusiasts,
00:28pet parents, and their fur babies.
00:30It can be found under the Enlex Harbor Link at MacArthur Highway, Barangay Karuhatan,
00:35and open to the public every day from 5 am to midnight.
00:40The project is in line with the 27th Charter Day of Valenzuela City,
00:45led by Enlex Corporation and Metro Pacific Tallways Corporation.
00:50The Paw Park area, which has an area of more than 500 square meters,
00:55is home to the Paw Activity Center, Paw Picnic Area, Sitting Area, Concrete Walkway, and Bike Parking Area.
01:02We're happy because our dogs have the freedom to do what they want.
01:06We hope that more cities will allow more people to visit because it's limited.
01:15Meanwhile, the skate park has an area of more than 2,000 square meters
01:19with quarter pipe rumps, stair sets, skate bowl, fun boxes, handrails, flat rails,
01:25grind boxes, hubbas, sitting benches, and bike ranks.
01:29We're happy because there are two skate parks.
01:32We won't get wet when we play.
01:35We don't get hot because of the sun.
01:38Especially for us, female skaters, it's a big help for us to be safe
01:43and not spread out on the streets.
01:46Through this initiative, the Local Government aims to increase the importance of physical activity
01:53and make the vacancy spaces in the city more vibrant, active, and beneficial.
