00:00We are joined now by an SNL Hall of Famer, Amy Poehler.
00:03Amy, so happy to see you.
00:05You are such an important link in this chain of 50 years.
00:08What is this night like?
00:09Is it a family reunion?
00:11What is it?
00:11Yeah, it's kind of like a family reunion.
00:14It's like comedy high school.
00:16We all grew up here.
00:17We're having a lot of big feelings.
00:19It's great to see everyone.
00:20It's great to be back.
00:22And just like SNL, we're really waiting to the last minute
00:26to figure everything out.
00:27I can't believe we have to do a show in a few hours.
00:29It's actually true.
00:30Everyone I've talked to said, yeah, we're
00:31still working on some things.
00:33Yeah.
00:33It starts soon.
00:34You know that, right?
00:35We don't usually have a red carpet before our show.
00:37And I have to tell you, it's not easy to get glam
00:39and then go back and get funny.
00:41Fair enough.
00:41So the two things don't always go together.
00:43With some distance from your time on the show,
00:46what's the character or the sketch
00:47that you hear about most these days from fans
00:50when you were on SNL?
00:51Well, I hear about Bronx Beat, the sketch I do with Maya,
00:55because people like to say, suedeweather.
00:56Sure.
00:58I think why that sketch is so fun
01:00is because we were both seniors when we did it.
01:02So we were very loose and having fun.
01:04So that's one big one.
01:06But Update, really, doing stuff with Tina.
01:08And every once in a while, people
01:10throw out a really deep cut, which is fun, too.
01:12That's the beauty of the show.
01:14Yeah, there's super fans.
01:15And there's people who still think I'm on the show.
01:18Wait, you're not?
01:19Well, technically, I guess I am tonight.
01:20Amy, have fun tonight.
01:21Great to see you.
01:22Thank you so much.
01:22And happy belated birthday.
01:23Oh, thank you.
01:24You're welcome.
