00:05They are the students listed in the Senior High School Voucher Program but they were not selected.

00:16This is an important story in some schools.

00:18But the Department of Education is investigating this.

00:21They are the ones who were not selected as Senior High School Students in the 12 private schools

00:26included in the Senior High School Voucher Program of DepEd.

00:29The program is the government's financial aid to allow Senior High School Students to study in DepEd schools like private schools.

00:36Incoming grade 11 students are given a voucher worth Php 14,000 to Php 22,500.

00:43Those who finished grade 10 in public schools will automatically receive the voucher.

00:48Graduates in private schools need to apply and DepEd does not grant the Education Service Contracting Program.

00:54DepEd did not mention the private schools.

00:57Education Secretary Sani Angara said in a statement that DepEd is taking the allegation seriously.

01:02DepEd will not allow the misuse of funds for education.

01:06DepEd has a right to prove that there are GOST students, such as the removal of their accreditation.

01:13DepEd is also studying the administrative and criminal sanctions that they can impose on any school personnel or officials.

01:21DepEd will call on the public to report to them if there is any irregularity in the implementation of their programs.

01:28If DepEd is approved, it will help the real students who need help.
