00:00All right, so a good news for the Dodgers,
00:02as if they really needed any more good news.
00:04Shohei Otani back on the mound, throwing his first bullpen
00:07of spring training.
00:09This is as close, Matt, to a super team
00:11as we have seen in a long time.
00:12I know that the Yankees won a bunch of World Series in 96
00:16and 98, and they sort of had that dynasty
00:18there for a while.
00:19But the Dodgers are really in a position
00:22not just to be happy to make the postseason,
00:25but anything less than winning the World Series.
00:27I mean, that's super high expectations.
00:30Yeah, it's probably an interesting feeling
00:33for the fans, right?
00:34Because it's all or nothing.
00:36You've got to win, but certainly I
00:37think most fan bases would trade places with them
00:40right now, knowing they're going into the season with the ability
00:43to root for this team.
00:44And they're loaded, top to bottom, the pitching staff,
00:48the rotation.
00:50They always deal with injuries, but they have enough depth
00:53that they should be able to survive it.
00:55Obviously, they have a great lineup.
00:57They have the best player in the world.
00:59There's really no holes in the team.
01:02I mean, obviously, again, you can point to injuries.
01:05You can point to potential attrition.
01:06And how is that going to weaken them?
01:08And are they going to be vulnerable in that regard?
01:12But overall, given their depth, given their resources,
01:15and given their talent level, they're
01:18clearly the class of the division, of the NL,
01:21I would say of the entire league.
01:22And the only drawback to that is if you're
01:25a better looking to get in on some action for them,
01:28there's simply no value.
01:29I mean, you've got to get real creative to find value
01:32with anything betting on the Dodgers,
01:34because otherwise it's priced in.
01:38Their talent is priced in all their lines.
01:40I'll put it that way.
