00:05stuff you might be asking yourself what certain matches are. What is the
00:09difference between a Hell in a Cell and a Royal Rumble? What's the difference
00:12between an Elimination Chamber and a cage match? Well for you casuals out
00:18there that are just coming back and enjoying the WWE since it arrived on
00:22Netflix or for those of you very very brand new, let me explain to you the
00:27hellacious conditions that many are finding themselves in when they head to
00:31Toronto on March the 1st and find themselves inside the structure we
00:36belovedly call the Elimination Chamber. So what is the Elimination Chamber? Well
00:44six superstars compete inside of a massive chain-linked steel structure
00:49with plexiglass pods. Two wrestlers start in the ring while the other four are
00:53locked inside the pods at the corners of the chamber. Now every five minutes a
00:58pod randomly opens releasing another competitor into the match and the match
01:02continues until only one wrestler remains after all the others have been
01:07eliminated by pinfall and submission. Sounds simple enough? Yeah there's a
01:13couple of caveats in there. For example there are no disqualifications inside
01:18the Elimination Chamber meaning that anything is fair game inside the
01:22structure. A wrestler is eliminated when they are pinned or forced to submit
01:26inside the ring and once eliminated they must leave the chamber immediately
01:31although sometimes they don't and shenanigans are afoot. Now the last
01:36remaining wrestler is declared the winner and depending on the stakes they
01:40either become the new champion if the title is on the line or in the case of
01:44WrestleMania 41 earn a title shot at the Showcase of the Immortals in this case
01:49being the men's winner of the Elimination Chamber faces Cody at the
01:54Granddaddy of them all. Oh and the chamber itself? Yeah it's a brutal
01:58environment. It's surrounded like I mentioned with steel chains. The floor
02:02outside is made of hard steel grates and wrestlers have and will use the chamber
02:08walls and pods as weapons leading to some of the most memorable moments in
02:12WWE history. It's gonna happen twice in one night with your men's and your
02:18women's Elimination Chamber matches happening. It's become a staple of the
02:22WWE calendar and you can enjoy it in full when it appears on Netflix live and
