Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan, HPk, NPk, HJ, MBE, was the second president of Pakistan. He was an army general who seized the presidency from Iskander Mirza in a coup in 1958, the first successful coup d'état in the country.He was the first foreign cadet to be promoted to Corporal. Ayub Khan passed first among the Indian cadets (about 60th among 123 cadets) in 1928.
