After lifting off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on Jan. 15, 2025, Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost lunar lander is making its way towards landing on the Moon. This is Firefly's first attempt at landing on the Moon's surface and the third robotic lander to carry NASA payloads as part of the agency's Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program.

Blue Ghost has 10 science and technology payloads onboard and is targeting a touchdown on March 2, 2025, at 3:45 a.m. EDT (0745 UTC).
