00:00If there was something I could get back, it would probably be that Rio Olympics, and to win that medal,
00:06because I feel that's probably the only thing that is something that it was one of my biggest dreams to win a medal for India,
00:13having been at the Olympics four times, which was huge for me, but just we came so close to win that medal,
00:21and if there was something that I could be like, can I get another shot at it, it would probably be that.
00:27For me it's not acceptable to, it's just the person that I am to stop because of something,
00:32I want to stop because I want to stop, or I want to play because I want to play,
00:35and I think it's time for different things, and my priorities are different now,
00:40and I'm just really grateful for everything that I've been able to achieve and been able to do in my last 20 years,
00:50so it's been a long career of mine, so I'm looking forward to the next phase of my life.
00:55I guess it's still sinking in a little bit, I'm sure I'll have a couple of cries before tomorrow morning,
01:01but I think that the good part about taking a decision on your own and doing it on your own terms,
01:07is you're very happy with what you're doing, it is very important to believe,
01:11and I feel very grateful and satisfied for everything that I've been able to do.
01:16If you're talking about someone trying to achieve, not just me as a benchmark, but more than what I have,
01:24I honestly feel that it will probably be someone who's maybe 5 or 6 years old today.
01:30It's difficult for me to say that the generation that is immediately the girl that I see
01:35are going to suddenly break into top 30 in the world in singles or be number 1 in doubles,
01:40and it's unfortunate that I have to say this, but that is the truth, and I've always said the truth.
01:48I do see people picking up more tennis rackets, I do see younger girls,
01:54I have seen parents come up to me and say, we've named her Sanya, we want her to play tennis,
01:59so all that stuff is great, but to see someone who's going to dominate in some ways at the highest level,
02:08I don't know if I see that happening.
