Heavy rains have flooded valleys around the Jebel Jais mountain in Ras Al Khaimah.
Clips shared by residents show water coursing through the valleys and channels in the vicinity of the mountain. In anticipation of the flooding, the emirate’s police closed off roads to the UAE’s highest peak on Tuesday (December 27) in order to ensure the safety of residents and tourists.
